A Christmas Latte Experiment
Hi guys!
For those of you who know me, you know that I am a serious coffee addict.
I am hoping Santa brings me an espresso machine so I can have all the hot and iced lattes I want!
Speaking of which, did anyone hear about the new holiday latte that Starbucks has on the menu for the season?
Well, it's called the Juniper latte (see more about it here) and seriously, it is Christmas in a cup!
I couldn't believe the piney-citrusy taste that it had. I don't know how they captured the very essence of a wintry Christmas tree, but they managed. Then they had the tangy, citrusy sprinkles on top of the foam which really brought the whole spirit of the holidays to me just in time for my afternoon coffee break.
Mellow and smooth, a really nice holiday blend. If you try one, hit me up with your thoughts on this very, very interesting flavor!
(I used a reward in case I didn't like it, but strangely it grew on me the more I drank it lol)
Happy Holidays!

Shelter Pre-Order In Effect!
Hi Gang!
Okay, I am sheepishly admitting that I have abandoned my blog for a while, but it is only because I have spent the better part of this year completing my new novel, "Shelter".
It was a long project, but I really enjoyed writing it and I can't wait for you guys to read it. Right now, you can pre-order it directly from Amazon and other major online retailers.
Authors To Look Out For
One of the things I plan to do from time to time is to tell you about an author that I(as a reader)admire. I would like to introduce you to Dave Wickenden, author of " In Defense of Innocence ". I just finished reading it and really enjoyed it. If you are looking for a good read, please be sure to check it out here
I notice that some of you have reviewed my books, and for that I thank you. If you haven't already reviewed any of them at your favorite online retailer or Goodreads, I encourage you to please do so. As always, feel free to shoot me an email. I love hearing from you!
It's coming! My latest novel, "Shelter", will release at all major online retailers on February 19, 2019.

What would you do to survive the impossible? Suffering through a job loss, Gabriel Warner and his ten-year-old daughter, Anne, are put to the test during a severe blizzard, while on a necessary road-trip.An opportunity for a new start leads Gabriel and Anne
to the northern woods of New York state, just before
the biggest blizzard in twenty years hits.
When a medical emergency forces them to leave their
car behind, they find an odd steel and glass fortress
deep in the woods. Safe for now after finding a way
inside, they're relieved, until they realize they're now trapped without
communication, food, or a way out.
No phone lines.
No cell service.
No electricity.
No food
No water
No way out.
They have escaped the blizzard, but will they escape their......Shelter?

A Delicious Experiment
So I go to Starbucks the other day with a coveted free-reward on my Starbucks card and decide to try something new for a change instead of my plain venti brewed coffee(cream, no sugar).
Which brings me to one of my new favorite lattes at my local #starbucks.
Now I am no great fan of coconut and have never even had coconut milk, but this is just too good to keep to myself.
I go to the counter and ask the barista for the following:
Order Now!
A Venti caffe latte Blonde-roast, doppio(double-shot which is basically two 1 ounce shots of espresso)5 pumps Toasted White Mocha sauceCoconut milk instead of regular milkWhipped cream(of course) topped with cranberry sugar topping.
(You can order it the above way via the mobile app to cut down on the wait if you are on the go!)
Can you say delish ? Oh my God, I didn't think I was going to like it but it was very, very good!
I've actually had it twice already and the last time I did I changed out the cranberry topping for the praline topping and had four pumps of regular white mocha since the location I went to no longer had the seasonal toasted white mocha (drat!)and one pump of toffee nut syrup.
Boom!
A party in my mouth! I encourage you to try it if you like coconut. To be honest, the coconut wasn't overpowering at all and I heartily recommend it to all of your Starbucks lovers out there. If you try it, shoot me an email and please let me know what you think!

Updates!
Ahoy! So I finally finished up "Company Policy: A Psychological Thriller" and sent it off for reviews. It will be released at all major retailers on October 24, 2017. Check out the direct pre-order page at my web site. Since I've been working hard these past few months, I decided that it was time for a little "R&R" on the high seas. So I booked a cruise to New England on the #Carnival Sunshine!
I had a great time! Beautiful weather as we visited #Boston, Massachusetts - #Portland, Maine(Birthplace of Stephen King ;-)) -#Halifax, Nova Scotia (death of the #Titanic) and finally Saint John, New Brunswick.I'd like to thank my new Canadian friends for showing me such an awesome time while I was up there visiting. I even finally got to try Tim Horton's and it was delish! I hope to get back up to Canada some day and see even more of the breath-taking views they had to offer.
I also had tons of fun on the ship during our days at sea when we did not visit a port. #Hasbro, in collaboration with Carnival Cruise Line staged a week-long murder mystery at sea based off of the ever popular "Clue"! I couldn't believe it, but I loved it. Throughout the week we had to solve puzzles and find clues around certain areas of the ship leading up to the grand reveal on our last day at sea before docking back at NYC. Here are some of the suspects and the (possible) murder weapons. I was told that Miss Scarlet and Colonel Mustard were off having coffee together, but Mr. Green, Professor Plum, Mrs. Peacock and Mrs. White were there to smile pretty and pose for pictures(or maybe mug-shots for the murder of poor Mr. Boddy - who knows!)
We also adopted a towel that thinks he's a pet, but he was so cute we decided to keep him around during our stay. Cabins are small, but we managed just fine even though he kept hogging the bathroom.
Food was good, but I totally missed my kitchen and cooking while I was gone. I am planning a cooking channel on youTube(more on that later)so it was nice to take a tour of the kitchens on the ship. Such beautiful and tasty creations to make your mouth water. Btw, I gained about 1000 pounds, but I am already back on track to undo the damage. Ugh, wish I hadn't eaten so much but I couldn't help it!
Eating Soft-Serve Ice Cream
Me, Handsome Canadian Mountie and MomOh, and on more thing: Gotta put up a picture of me and some of my other friends at the ports:
Mom, Lobster and Me. I asked someone for butter,
but Lobster wasn't happy about it
And that's about it! It was a lovely week and all, but there's no place like #home. Time to start my next project!
Toodles!

Beta-Reader Program in effect for "Company Policy: A Psychological Thriller"
Hi gang!
If you want an opportunity to become a beta reader, please sign up below as I am looking for feedback, which is critical to authors everywhere, on my latest book "Company Policy: A Psychological Thriller". You will also be submitted into the pool for future opportunities, as I can only accept a limited number of participants. First come, first serve basically. Please note: on completing the book, you will be required to answer a survey pertaining to the characters, events and other things that may or may not need to be changed before publication. You will also be asked to honestly and constructively critique(or praise ;-)) the book. But seriously, I am looking for serious feedback and critique so that I can provide an enjoyable reading experience for all. And lastly, you will be asked to post reviews on Amazon and/or Goodreads(preferably both) once the book releases(I will be emailing all participants for this event to let them know when this will be). Serious inquiries only, please. The deadline for this event is September 19, 2017 by midnight. Thanks! - Erica
