I haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been so busy writing but had to share this image with you guys.

If you have ever seen the show, ‘life after people’ then this picture might seem familiar.

And if your brain works like mine then you are probably constantly wondering if this is what our cities will look like in a century.

I’ve posted this question before… But love to see your responses. What do you think our world will look like in the future? Reblog with your answer!

You probably follow me because of my ramblings about the apocalypse, but today I’m sharing a personal picture of my twin brother and his new baby boy, Noah (left). I’m on the right.

So precious, fragile and perfect.

This artistic rendition of a futuristic society built in an apocalyptic wasteland is stunning. And the juxtaposition is interesting for a variety of reasons.

Imagine for a moment, a world where we have rebuilt AND advanced as a society after an apocalyptic event. This concept isn’t as common as the mad max version which alludes to a post-apocalyptic future where humans struggle to survive.

But why not imagine a future where we burned and then recovered.

Maybe it would look like Rome?

In the end…

If you somehow managed to survive a post-apocalyptic event and were there to witness this scene… How would you feel? Would you fight? Give up?

"A picture is worth a thousand words." When I first started writing I would select a random image and craft a story about that character. What secrets do these two images hold? Share in comments!

This picture could be set in the future or in the status quo. Miniature apocalypses are happening around the world everyday. Ukraine, China, Gaza Strip and Israel. We just rarely hear about such events or chose to ignore them.

This is oddly beautiful. A future with familiar views but without the technology. Looks simple and safe. What will our future look like?
