Batman a’ la YouTube

The 2012 followup story “Death of the Family” alludes to the 1988  story “A Death in the Family”; this time, the Joker plans to ratchet up the mayhem and eliminate absolutely everyone associated with the Batman. Does the Joker succeed? This radio drama plays out the conclusion to the story.

Story Character…

Developing a liked story means developing a character’s ethos: without it, a reader will not like or trust your story’s character; without it, a reader will experience no buildup; without it, a reader will not want to read to a story’s conclusion. -M. Duda

Bedtime for Seneca Audiobook Update

Well, the production of the book is complete, anyway. Audible.com is prepping the book for distribution, which is a rather lengthy process. It’s a process that involves waiting–and waiting. Hopefully, the Bedtime for Seneca audiobook is published this week. Hopefully.

The Beast Returns

In its eyes, a vengeance. It was an anger, so dark and hot, that it even seemed to burn our quivering souls. Shaking, we dropped our weapons, we ran, we prayed. -M. Duda

The Twilight Zone a’ la YouTube

Taking on Rod Serling’s role as a narrator, Stacy Keach retells Serling’s most memorable work: The Twilight Zone. While just as memorable for those who already enjoy the television series, these radio stories are slightly expanded for a modern audience to enjoy. Travel in a Darker Place

And then I trudge to nowhere. Through morass and damp, dense fog, I struggle, but I cannot make sense of why I go. Is it the thick, wet air that slows me down? Or is it something else I cannot feel and cannot see? -M. Duda

To My Love

I walk these steps on a path I do not know of what may lie ahead of me; but I gladly travel on this path to an end I cannot see, because I take such comfort that you travel on with me. -M. Duda

Getting Closer…

I’m working a new manuscript, which may be complete by June. These new stories have various influences, including a YA styling. And this work has been so much fun. In fact, some of the characters jump off the page and do whatever they please. Such rascals!
