It’s National Bookshop Day!
Head along to your local bookshop – fun times to be had at The Sun Bookshop in Yarraville. (I was there this morning, hanging out with the lovely crew.)
And at Dymocks Collins Street in the city, there’s a heap of things going on too.

they click and touch and lean and shove. sometimes, one lying next to one, they just disappear. want next to chocolate is nothing like want next to him. want next to kiss is a whole different thing. kiss and touch and slide are nothing like the skin slide that happens on the bad days. sliding skin when I think of you is something different again. tomorrow next to night and forest near heart. beating next to ache, next to night, next to need might have something to do with beating next to fist but I hope it doesn’t. face next to fist, fist next to heart, finger and skin, finger on nose, sky next to eyes and sky next to breath, that’s a whole different thing again. night heart, night feet, night howl, night nearly, night nearly over, over the night forest of you, lost in the night forest of your feet, feet first into the night forest of you.
