Attracting God’s Glory
When we speak of Gods’ glory we are usually talking about a display of His power. This comes through a demonstration of the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. It can be a supernatural experience of the peace of God or it can be through a supernatural healing or an accurate prophetic word. Whatever the event, it is an experience of his supernatural nature and power. The question becomes what can we do to attract more of His power? So, let’s look at His nature and His power.

Citizenship in Heaven Part 2
In our last blog post we talked about what Apostle Paul wrote to the church of Philippi about our Citizenship in Heaven. Here is the rest of the blog post as well as the video.
WHAT DOES CITZENSHIP IN HEAVEN MEAN IN PRACTICE?
The values you live by are not of this world. I am a Canadian living in the U.S. I critique the culture I live in by a different set of values. I always will. We must constantly remind ourselves that the values our culture takes as givens are mostly not the values of...November 16, 2019
Our Citizenship is in Heaven
As we continue to explore the power of God in our lives, we will take a look in the letter Paul wrote to the Philippians.
We see how he has defined our core Christian identity as people who accept the following as true;
1. That sufferings and trials are a part of the Christian life,
2. That joy is possible in the midst of trials and suffering, 3. That thankfulness is possible in all circumstances and that practicing being thankful brings peace and joy,
3. That although we are God’s well loved children...

Risk Taking Part 2
Here are a few assumptions:
1. You want to see more of “Your Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven” through your life and your church. After all, this is how Jesus taught us to pray.
2. You believe in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. That is to say, you believe in the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit; healing, prophecy, miracles, divine guidance and wisdom, tongues and interpretation of tongues. I have been around you long enough to know that this church’s theological position says “yes” t...

What You Need to Know About Risk Taking
“We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith…” Romans 12:6
This makes perfect sense: You don’t do something you don’t believe you should do. Also, you don’t do something you don’t believe you CAN do.
Here are a few assumptions we have established in other blog posts:
Believers and Christ followers should practice these gifts.
All believers have the Holy Spirit living within us and therefore we can do these supernatural thin...

Living a Kingdom Culture
To live in a kingdom culture, we need to know what values and practices define the Kingdom of God. It would help us to define the characteristics of the kingdom of God if we could find those places in the Bible where the Kingdom of God is being practiced perfectly – where we can say with certainty that God’s will is being done on earth as it is in Heaven.
There are two places where we see God’s will being done perfectly here on earth. The first is in the first chapters of Genesis, before sin...

The Calling of Matthew
Mark shares from his series on the Life of Jesus. Listen here.
Read Matthew 9:9-13 Within this little story is hidden the central difference between Christianity and all other religions. This is the first time that Jesus begins to differ from his Jewish faith. In this story he begins to set forth the fundamental message of what he came to give. We need to understand the background in order to see the radical nature of what Jesus is doing here.
Matthew is a tax collector who is also a Jew. He...
