The Deceptive Series
So, The Deceptive Series is now complete and available to everyone through Amazon Kindle, iBooks, Barnes & Noble, etc.!
This has been a great experience, one that I will always cherish. It still astounds me that I was able to write an entire book series with my awesome co-author, M.D. Melai.
We set out on this journey almost seven years ago, and now it has come to an end. It's definitely a bittersweet moment--one in which I will hold on to as I move forward with my writing endeavors.
I will be forever thankful that Liliana's story was my first. She holds a special place in my heart and always will. Her story is giving me the courage to move forward and tell other stories, and it has also made me realize how much I love writing. So, I'm hoping that one day I can make a career out of this.
What a wonderful life that would be.
I want to give a special thank you to all of my readers thus far. Not only have your kind words and feedback given me the inspiration to keep writing, you have also shown me that writing is a gift, which I plan to use well. You all are the reason that I have come this far, and I'm hoping that you'll stick by my side as I bring new stories to life page after page.
This milestone in my life comes with much gratitude, and thank you doesn't seem like enough, but I suppose it will have to suffice--for now.

Virtual Blog Tour
Well, Melai and I just finished our first blog tour, and we were very pleased with the results! Seriously can't believe that it's already over. It feels like it just started yesterday!
I have collected all of the reviews of Deceptive from five different bloggers, and they are listed below.

"First off, I have to say that I do not like Liliana Dapprima as a character. There is nothing wrong with her as the main character, just find her a little bit ‘duh’ as she finds out a lot of things at the end of the book, despite hints being thrown about left, right and center throughout the book.
The story, it pretty interesting. I think the authors had purposely made Liliana naïve and lovely so the betrayal shows and hurts even more. Liliana falls in love with Lucas, but living together with Emilio, Lucas’ boss. Does anyone else find this setting fishy? I was suspicious by chapter one though.
I was hooked nonetheless, it is still a fascinating plot, with characters that seem to be breathing danger. While Liliana is in the dark, the rest of the cast are not, well… probably excluding Viv, who I am not sure about at the moment (she is pretty nice though).
Deception is pretty good for a quirky romance and betray book, while I am not surprised by the answer, I was surprised by the cliffhanger (of sorts). Definitely left me hanging, this is not the end! I will be keeping an eye out of this pair, since this is a series worth following."

"The man who broke your heart or the new man who seems to want to put it back together? As if that wasn’t enough to deal with, Liliana is hammered with family secrets and shocking developments that make her life even harder. This is a wild ride. The love triangle itself would have made for a great story, but adding everything else in really adds another layer and kept me invested in Liliana, Emilio, and Lucas along with her family and all of the secondary characters."

"The title really fits this story. There are a lot of characters and a lot of deceit and surprises along the way. It is a Romance and Liliana and her journey to understand love and overcome past heartbreak while trying to move on is a powerful one. The reader will be invested in Liliana’s story from the get-go. She is a very easy character to love. I really enjoyed the pacing and writing style of M.D. Melai & C.S. Leigh. It was smooth and never felt forced or drawn out. A great Contemporary Read that delves a little deeper."

"I enjoyed this book, though initially I did not take to Lilly AT ALL. I don’t know why but she just seemed to be so naïve and childlike - maybe not childlike, I cant pinpoint the exact word I want to describe her, suffice to say I didn’t really like her character much.
But as the story progresses I could kinda see why she was written to be so niave. It took me a while to get into the story but once I got going I loved the twists and turned and the ending.,…. oh my!"

"Old wounds opened up again when Liliana had to be with her old lover Emilio Amante. It didn’t help her either that she must live and work with him while she was already committed to her new boyfriend Lucas, who happened to be Emilio’s employee. This kind of love triangle may sound cliché, but trust me, their love story was something extraordinary.
This story already captured my attention with its prologue. Liliana was startled awake after she saw herself running away from someone who wanted to claim and lunged her. As the chapters ran, my impression of Liliana being innocent changed to deceivingly cautious and mature. From that point on, I knew I was in for a good read. And it really was! It was an hour later when I realized I wouldn’t be able to sleep unless I finish the story.
MD Melai and CS Leigh are highly commendable authors, as they both made me thrilled from beginning to end. The ending provided and opportunity for me to think and guess what happens next. So I am looking forward to reading book 2."

Book 3
Hello Readers!
Melai and I are hard at work on book 3 in the Deceptive Series! Can't believe how fast time is flying. I am currently working on chapter 9 while Melai is working on chapter 10!

Getting Excited!
Hello readers!
It's been a while since I've been on here, and I just wanted to let everyone know that we are six weeks away from the release of book two in the Deceptive Series!
We just finished the final edit on Monday, and I finished the formatting last night! We're hoping that we will have the book ready for pre-order within the next week!
Can't believe it is already here, and that everyone will be able to read book two in just a few short weeks!
We will also be doing another giveaway for book two!

Almost Done!
We have just one beta reader left and then we are in the FINAL edit of book two. As soon as we get her copy and notes back, it's left up to me and Melai to do the final edit and send it off to copyright.
Release date will be July 1st! Can't believe it's only a few weeks away. Time goes by so fast when there is a lot to do.

Hello everyone,
Melai and I have started to do some exciting stuff with our Facebook page.
This includes 'Man Crush Monday's' and 'Woman Crush Wednesday's' in which we choose a character and tell you all more about them, as well as showing you who we imagine they look like.
We are also doing Teaser Tuesday's, where we pick a quote from book two of the Deceptive Series.
