Conceptual Writing vs. Political Poetry? Conceptual Writing vs. Positivist Representation? Avant Garde Aesthetics vs. Activist Poetics? To speak in the idiom of Maestro Ilayaraaja, my muse while I edited this feature: How to name it? How to, indeed?

The tale of two birthdays
The room lifted up to the sounds of footsteps and a can opener. The day has come. It was only for a moment when she recollects her scavenging days five years ago in an abandoned parking lot. I wish someone would take me home, she whispered. Her wish was granted.
Welcome home, Koultessa!
She had reclaimedher birthright, Koultessa S. Grugwiv, and in the next few years she’d be sharing aroom with three more abandoned individuals who would eventually become her adopted siblings.

There’s no doubt thatMa’ Rosa’shard-edged impromptu style social realist narrative could whisk offthePhilippine k-pop-culture-obsessed mainstream mediain a jiffy. Sautéed asparagus inside a space simulator
Disclaimer: this is not a recipe post. Asplant-basedliving eases up a bit, thanks to the vegan police, and loyaladversaries, for spreading the V word, vegan labelled productssprout like mushroom in groceries. The vegetable section is still available, of course. We’re not anymore galaxies away from today’s norm. I’ve managed to discharge the superpowers ofbicarbonate of soda and lemon on my utensils, toilet bowl, and cavities. And I’vediscovereda new way to make cooked veggies lookdecent. I gu...
Life and other apps
I’m finally back on board. It seems my daily paperand ink (um, this is a failed attempt at replacing “bread and butter”, gah) didn’t help me in any way in cooking new rants for my blog. Embarrassing, really. No, notwriter’s block. Something more meta, like renovating and keeping up with my minianimalshelter, in my opinion. But thecats have weaved me something far more terrible.A chock-fullof advice for wanna-be faux writer’s block victims. Get off social mediaand play mini-games. Find more ti...
