Uh oh, turns out ’17’ isn’t the code you thought it was.

This is a very brave woman.

This woman has made the cable news rounds after her TikTok video coming out went viral. We rarely get these kind of “formers” bc of the shame that comes from admitting you were wrong, admitting you sacrificed real relationships to a conspiracy theory. She’s really brave. https://t.co/15NcMb1Io4

Turns out QAnon lady MTG’s tantric sex guru is a good dude.

This guy seems like a pretty good dude if you ask me. It sucks he got followed around and photographed at the gas station because someone he slept with a long time ago became a QAnon politician. Glad to see he's taking it in stride. It seems to be what he's good at. https://t.co/rOvU8MdxIp

That Scientology spying operation on Anonymous? Yeah, we have video too

We have even more for you from Scientology’s own files on its operation to surveil the Anonymous movement in Seattle in 2009.

Yesterday we explained that notorious Scientology “black bag department” private investigator Russ Andrews was flown in to sit outside a protester’s residence and take note of who was coming and going. Today, we have video from that operation.

But first, we wanted to show you even more about the lengths Scientology went to as it was being picketed by Anonymous at the time.

Public Scientologists were recruited by the local DSA — the Department of Special Affairs, the local branch of Scientology’s spy wing, the Office of Special Affairs — in order to infiltrate Anonymous and take part in the protests.

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

We can show you a page from a packet that Scientologists recruited for the operation were given, with a checklist of things to bring to a monthly picket.

Our source tells us that Ann is Seattle’s DSA, Steve is current “invest off” (investigations officer) and Chris was the former DSA, now deceased, and an Ideal Org fundraiser.

The Scientologists who were recruited by this crew hid their affiliation with the church so they could take part in the picket and photograph participants for later identification. These four photos are from Scientology’s own files of the infiltration effort.

We can also now reveal that one of the Scientologists recruited to do this work was someone you know. You saw him on an excellent episode of Leah Remini’s A&E series, Scientology and the Aftermath.

It’s Bert Schippers, who told such a compelling story about being ripped off in Scientology’s “Ideal Org” grift.

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

He tells us that not only was he among those Seattle Scientologists recruited to infiltrate the Anonymous pickets, but that he even went on a day of surveillance with Russ Andrews.

“We were basically out almost all night long. We were following two or three of the Anons, and they were just out drinking. And then one of them at 3 or 4 am went out for a walk because he was puking. They left at 3 or 4 am and we followed them all the way home,” he says.

That sounds a lot like the day of surveillance that Andrews detailed in his notes for April 4, 2009. But looking them over, Bert tells us he was with Russ on a different day.

“It was a different night. There wasn’t a guy wearing a kilt. We spent most of the time south of Seattle and then followed one of them home to Seattle,” he says.

We asked him what Russ talked about during the surveillance.

“We chatted a little bit, but I don’t remember anything he said. I remember thinking that we’re just watching people do what young people do, drink and hang out with their friends, and there was nothing more to it than that. It was kind of a waste,” he says. “But the church was obsessed with these ‘evil’ people.”

We were given the name of someone else also involved in the infiltration of Anonymous in Seattle and are reaching out to that person.

We’ve also managed to obtain video shot by Russ Andrews on his day of surveilling “Kiltboy,” which was described in his notes that we posted yesterday. We’ve taken a sample of a couple of minutes from it.

We’d love to hear from anyone who appears in this video. It’s been nearly 12 years since you were stalked by the Church of Scientology. What are your thoughts on it?

Leah Remini podcast: Ford Greene

Says Mike Rinder: “He has endured many Scientology Fair Game attacks including two criminal investigations, multiple state bar complaints, a civil lawsuit, ongoing surveillance, spying, noisy PI investigations, taking his garbage and more. If all that’s not enough, in addition to his criminal defense practice, since 2007 he has been elected four times as council member for the Town of Anselmo, CA where he has been mayor three times.” And now he’s on Leah and Mike’s latest podcast episode. ‘Deep Sleep Therapy’ docs appeal lawsuit defeat, then one, John Herron, dies at 88

Last year we paid attention to the farcical defamation lawsuit filed against Australian journalist Steve Cannane by two figures in that country’s “Deep Sleep Therapy” scandal of the early 1990s.

We explained that such a lawsuit would never happen here in the US, but Australia’s press laws are different and a judge found that although Cannane had relied on an official royal report for his reporting on the scandal in his excellent 2016 book about Scientology in Australia, Fair Game, he would have to prove all over again the findings of that report: That doctors had knowingly used a risky therapy with dangerous drugs that had caused dozens of deaths.

And prove it all over again Cannane did, with the use of experts and to the satisfaction of a federal court in Sydney. The two plaintiffs, Dr. John Gill and former psychiatrist John Herron, only ended up tainting their reputations all over again. They not only lost the case, but were ordered to pay Cannane’s costs.

But even with that drubbing, they weren’t done. Just before Christmas they filed an appeal. And then, on February 7, John Herron died at 88.

Well, some people truly don’t know when to give up.

1996: Chris Owen, who previously posted the Anderson Report, which led to Scientology being banned in parts of Australia in 1965, this week posted materials documenting Hubbard’s response to the report. “In issue 31 of ‘The Auditor’, LRH made the following statement: ‘Principals of the Victorian government such as the “Prime Minister,” Anderson the “Q.C.” and hostile members of the “Victoria Parliament” are continued [sic] as suppressive persons and they and their families and connections may not be processed or trained and are fair game’.”

Patriots wrestle with what’s going to happen next: If Trump doesn’t magically become president again on March 4, there’s more talk about taking matters into their own hands on March 5.

Scientology spying on Anonymous: Leaked from the files of a church private eye

[The black bag department: Russ Andrews]

Saturday we revealed the appearance of one of Scientology’s notorious “black bag department” operators, a private investigator named Russ Andrews.

Now we’ve heard from a source who says that one of Andrews’ many operations was to spy on members of Anonymous in Seattle and to track them down and identify them for the Church of Scientology.

We have a document that our source says was produced by Andrews during this operation, and it demonstrates what members of Anonymous always suspected: That Scientology watched them obsessively in order to ID them for harassment.

The sudden arrival of the Anonymous movement was of course one of the most surprising and memorable episodes in Scientology watching history. In January 2008, a video of a Tom Cruise interview made by the church four years earlier was leaked to the Internet, and when Scientology tried to suppress it the Anonymous movement then took it on as a challenge. After posting an ominous video about how Scientology’s anti-Internet history was obnoxious to them, Anonymous then called for in-person protests in February 2008. Thousands showed up at pickets in cities around the world.

Here’s a local TV report of the protests that happened that February in Seattle…

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Part of the point of showing up in large anonymous groups (many protesters wore masks) was to stymie Scientology’s reputation for retaliation. With thousands of protesters and with their identities hidden, how could Scientology’s notorious private investigators retaliate?

But Scientology did retaliate, with private eyes following protesters home, and with some even infiltrating Anonymous local groups: We’ve written in the past about Cierra Westerman, for example, who came forward and revealed that she had infiltrated Anonymous in Clearwater, Florida in order to help Scientology “doxx” (document) other protesters.

And in Seattle, our source says, Russ Andrews was flown out to join local Scientology operatives to try and ID members of Anonymous there in April 2009, more than a year after the protests had first begun.

By April 2009 monthly pickets were much smaller, of course, and so it was easier to ID individual picketers. One of them who went by the name “Kiltboy” was singled out for watching, our source says. They turned over to us notes that they say were compiled by Andrews after a 12-hour shift watching Kiltboy outside his home and following him into downtown Seattle.

Here’s the text of the document. We’ve removed some license plate numbers and one full name.

Work Product

C/5 Location:

Primary Objective: Locate / Identify Kiltboy

04/04/09

12:40
A blue Saturn sedan WA # [redacted] is parked on the north side of Unit A. This is the third day in a row this car is seen parked at this location. No other cars of interest are observed at this location.

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

12:45
Silver Ford Taurus WA # [redacted] is parked on the street, in the “bike only” lane. It is believed Kiltboy and Gnome probably arrived in this vehicle.

12:58
A female believed to be Gnome and an unidentified male, tall, average build, dark curly hair, balding spot at back of head, stringy goatee and wire frame eyeglasses, are seen exiting from the parking area near Unit A. The male is seen wearing black leather jacket. The female is wearing a long wool maroon-colored coat. They walk to the north end of the block, cross over to the west side of the street, walk down to the south end of the block, cross over to the east side of the street and return to the parking lot and are seen entering Unit A. They appear to be conversing while walking.

13:09
The twosome approached and entered Unit #A. Kiltboy was seen standing in the doorway as they approached.

13:14
Red Honda Civic with CA # [redacted] parks on the street just in front of the Taurus. The driver is male, passenger is female (believed to be Flag Girl and Button Master). These people continue to sit in the car and the car headlights remain on for several minutes.

13:21
Kiltboy exits Unit A waiving his hand in the air and talking on a cell phone. He is wearing a green bandana, a dark-colored coat and a T-shirt with white letters. He approaches the Civic. Two platters of food are removed from the car and all three persons enter Unit A. The threesome entered Unit #A. Sea-Tac was observed standing in front of the Unit as the threesome approached. The driver shakes hands with Sea-Tac and they entered.

13:39
Dark green Hyundai WA # [redacted] pulls into the parking area and drops off a female who enters Unit A. The driver is a male with short dark brown hair. The female appears to be slightly heavyset with long straight hair, wearing a short-sleeve light blue blouse. She exits, approaches and knocks on the front door and is let in. He drives into the general area of Tyler and 35th (a few miles northeast of Unit A).

14:42
A gold Ford Focus takes the parking spot designated for Unit A. The driver is a male, mid to late 20s, short dark hair, dressed in shirt and tie and an overcoat. He enters Unit A with a key.

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

15:27
The previous male in the tie exits Unit A, uses a key to lock the door, and in the Focus proceeds to an apartment complex leasing office at 6124 70th Ave Court W. A co-worker identifies him as “Walker”. Subsequent research indicates this person is [redacted].

18:07
[Walker] returns to Unit A in the Focus. He uses a key to enter the unit. Before entering the unit, he retrieves mail from a mailbox. He is not seen to exit again.

19:10 (approx)
The blue Saturn leaves from the Unit. It is driven by a tall, large build, young, bald, unknown male. The male is wearing a black hooded jacket. There is a female passenger with very short red spiky hair with him.

19:38
The tall bald male and female return in the Saturn and enter Unit #A with a key.

19:53
The first balding male left Unit A and went out to the Taurus. He got a hat out of the car, put it on and returned to Unit A.

20:30 (approx)
Kiltboy, assisted by two females, leaves the unit and walks southbound into the local neighborhood. The threesome eventually sat down for several minutes. He appears to urinate on a house, vomit and passes out on the street. He is wearing no shoes, a kilt and T-shirt.

20:42
Kiltboy and the two females return to Unit A. He appears to be stumbling as the girls assist him.

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

22:45
The green Hyundai returns and parks in the front of Unit A. The driver does not get out of the car. Due to darkness the driver could not be seen.

22:54
The slightly heavyset female in the light blue blouse exits and departs in the Hyundai. She exits Unit A and gets into the car. Kiltboy came out to the car briefly and then returned to Unit A.

23:11
Flag Girl and Button Master leave in the Civic.

23:39
The tall bald male and female returned again in the Saturn and enter Unit #A with a key. They left earlier at an unknown time.

04/05/09

00:00 (approx)
Unit A is dark on both levels. A few minutes later back bedroom lights come on.

00:01 (approx)
Kiltboy exits Unit A and walks up and down the street. He has a jacket and a backpack on. He starts walking northbound and stops.

00:04

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});The three additional people, Gnome, and balding male with the hat and another unknown front passenger exit the front door and say bye. Kiltboy does not appear to want to get in the car. He finally walks back as the other three walk out to the Taurus and gets into the back seat. Gnome also gets into the back seat. The car leaves and travels north bound on Interstate 5.

00:50 (approx)
The Taurus arrives at the Zindorf Apartments, 714 7th Avenue in downtown Seattle. Kiltboy and Gnome exit the Taurus and go inside. The Taurus leaves the area.

End

We want to make it clear that there’s nothing illegal revealed about the surveillance described in this document. Russ Andrews is a Scientologist who works for its Office of Special Affairs, and spying on people the church considers enemies is one of its main activities, as has been demonstrated in countless other videos and documents.

But it’s rare to get a look at raw work product like this, and we thank our source for sharing it with us.

We sent an email to Andrews through his company, Triwest Investigative Services, asking for him to communicate with us about his work for Scientology in general, and his activities in Seattle in 2009 in particular. We’ll let you know if we hear from him.

“Greece, in its Golden Age, could be said to have been at Tone 4. Perhaps in the first days of this country, when we were searching out a wilderness and building the nation, we could be said to have been at Tone 4. A nation follows in its cycles the same tone scale as individuals. A person can be as high as Greece was, or in a state of apathy as were the American Indians when they were destroyed as a nation. You can tell just what the mental health of a nation is by observing its actions. A country like Russia that is always angry is at 1.5 or 2. It is either angry or in a state of war. If a human being were in this band he would be titled insane. A state in this band could not help being a police state. The United States for a while was rather bored but getting along. However, this last war reduced us to around 2.1, which is rather overtly hostile — ready to fight. We are drifting back down the tone scale. Between here and death is totalitarianism.” — L. Ron Hubbard, February 15, 1951

“The actual value of a trained SO member is very high, yet is not being assigned a value. The wogworld tends to impress on people that the individual has no value. Welfare states deplore having people. Yet we run on and because of people. The value is actually too high to be calculated easily. Because value to self is all the wide world thinks of. Value to the group is discounted. Yet the whole value of a being is to his group and not to himself at all. The aberrated think of modern times says one has no real value to the group. Yet that is a being’s greatest value. We should work more on these lines in a practical sense.” — The Commodore, February 15, 1971

Overheard in the FreeZone

“Whenever Scientology doesn’t work it gets blamed on out-tech. Sometimes it might be the case, but Scientology itself is faulty. Hubbard never mentioned when things didn’t work from day one, for example in the Dianetics book he didn’t mention how some people can’t find engrams. They just can’t. He made out it was super easy to learn and works amazingly, but in the real world Dianetics didn’t pan out that way and Clear kinda doesn’t even exist.”

——————–

Past is Prologue

2002: The St. Petersburg Times reported that Scientology is placing billboards to advertise their Volunteer Ministers program. “For Americans troubled by economic uncertainty, fear and grief, 1,100 Church of Scientology billboards going up in major U.S. cities claim to have an answer. ‘No matter how bad it is … SOMETHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT.’ The billboards are part of an unprecedented national media campaign by Scientology to reach what it calls ‘a nation still troubled by the Sept. 11 attacks.’ But the blitz disturbs some mental health experts who express concern about both the church’s motive and its expertise in treating emotional distress. The advertisements promote the services of Scientology’s volunteer ministers, parishioners trained in basic Scientology principles that the church says can solve problems ranging from grief to marital difficulties to drug addiction.”

Patriots relieved Trump acquitted, and things are going to remain weird

Some links to Q-related items today…

Patriots were relieved that the Senate did not have enough votes to convict the former president, of course, but they worry that he may still face a vote under the 14th Amendment that would prevent him from holding office again.

Trump may no longer be in office, but things are going to remain weird for some time, no doubt.

A man with the letter "Q" written in blue on his mask is arrested near Queens Park on Feb 13. His van also prominently featured the letter "Q" alongside a cross and a "No More Lockdowns" banner on the rear window.

"You're behaving like Nazis."
"Kill me now, you traitors."

Post-Super Bowl, Scientology is on fire and will soon clear the planet

We want to thank our source who once again has given us access to Scientology’s social media streams so we can see what church members are telling each other about their wins and gains.

And right now, are Scientologists amped! The annual Super Bowl ad never fails to give these mighty thetans newfound energy, so let’s see how things are going, shall we?

First, let’s check in on super-Scientologist cheerleader Patrick Clouden and his latest report on all of the good things going on in the Magic Kingdom of Orlando.

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

OK, maybe that wasn’t too exciting. But at least we can be assured that Scientology is doing its best to get its hands on another generation of unsuspecting children…

It’s a shame that there’s only one approved L. Ron Hubbard lecture that’s on color film, because it really thrills his followers to see it…

Overdo it in Tampa for the big game? Stop on by and let Gayle put you through the quack sauna regimen…

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});We said the new Super Bowl ad was just another mystery sandwich and just like the others (you can see all of them going back to 2013 here), but some Scientologists were truly moved…

Every time we see Barbara Cordova continuing to schlepp for Scientology, we can’t help thinking about her brave mom, Arlene.

The fundraising never stops. Sure, give up your Valentine’s Day plans for this afternoon’s grift…

Just a reminder that Arte Maren was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Snow White prosecutions of the late 1970s, and we showed how he tried to run interference for the church at the time.

Camp not only headlined here, but also appeared recently in Scientology’s pandemic online concert hosted by Erika Christensen…

“The matter of communication is a very serious one. People who are wearing glasses have a break in communication — the communication between the outside world and their minds. It is something which makes it hard for them to see. Myopic astigmatism, unless caused by an accident, is a psychosomatic affair caused by the mind. There is a communication break relating to sight. Those breaks culminate in glasses. Statements in engrams like ‘You just can’t see anything’ will cause the command power to shut off vision. Those people who have achieved optimum personality often drop off the need for glasses.” — L. Ron Hubbard, February 14, 1951

“MOLLY McBRIDE and CLARISSE BARNETT are appointed Commodore’s Messengers. They are cadets in rank and wear a blue lanyard. When they have done their AB, Mission School 2nd Class, SSI and SSII, if they perform duty well, they will be made midshipmen. Anne Tidman as Cmdr’s Messenger I/C will assign their watches and groove them in (Terri Gillham is on Mission). Molly McBride and Clarisse Barnett should turn over any duties they have to the next in line on their posts and groove them in so as not to leave a hole. A poor turnover of former post can drag one back into it as Mr. Warren has learned lately to his sorrow!” — The Commodore, February 14, 1971

Overheard in the FreeZone

“Grade 2 worth it? LRH is very simply a genius. I realized I am CAUSE. I am responsible for anything that ever happened to me, willingly or unwillingly; knowingly or unknowingly. Waves and waves of energy have emanated from my body and me for the past few days and I have addressed items and terminals I had attention on forever. My voice dropped a register during auditing. I had a higher pitched voice before and I just calmed the hell down during this auditing. I sound manlier, I talk slower, I don’t mumble my words so much, I listen attentively to others. I am very happy, I am really ready to go back in the workplace and see changes happening there with terminals. Curious to talk to my 2D (we are currently separated), curious to talk to anyone. My face changed, mass blew right of my face, I feel like I got a face lift and reconstructive surgery. My goodness. Oh and I perceive differently with my vision. I see layers of vision. It is a change of vision, it is a rehab of the Objectives wins I had before but to make it simpler to understand the MEST universe is right in front of me and closer and in full 3D, I AM the MEST universe if that makes sense. It’s not some nebulous weird thing that’s over there. It’s right there in front of me. Sometimes I say hi to it and smile and admire it, it seems to like that.”

——————–

Past is Prologue

2001: Randy Enerson reported that Scientology is trying to handle critics who are informing Battle Creek, Michigan locals of the implications of a new org in their community. “John Carmichael is currently in the Battle Creek Michigan area attempting to ‘handle’ the local media as well as any critics in the area that are already speaking out and exposing the truth of Scientology. The CoS is closing their Ann Arbor Org, and trying to purchasing the historic old Hart Hotel in downtown Battle Creek. Carmichael has reportedly been busily shopping a huge load of DA materials on critics of the cult around town to the local media. Yesterday John Carmichael met with a local critic in an attempt to discourage him from further letters to the Battle Creek Enquirer newspaper exposing the criminally convicted cult.”

QAnon patriots: Hey, maybe Trump being convicted in this thing is part of the plan?

[What did they know and when did they know it?]

Some links to Q-related items today…

Wait, if Trump is convicted in the impeachment trial, could that actually be part of ‘the plan’?

Let’s bring one of Scientology’s most notorious bag men out of the shadows

The last two days we’ve remarked on Chrissie Carnell-Bixler’s remarkable letter to Congress, and how she is trying her best to explain what it is like to be a former Scientologist who is being harassed by an organization with a very well-earned reputation for retaliating against people who expose its secrets.

Simply put, Scientology is built on decades of psychological terrorism.

That’s the phrase that Mike Rinder has recently begun using and is encouraging others to adopt, and he should know. He once headed the department of psychological terror at the Church of Scientology, otherwise known as the Office of Special Affairs.

“It is unique in that the ‘doctrine’ of Scientology — i.e., the written and spoken words of L. Ron Hubbard — contains directives for Scientology to engage in intelligence activities, including gathering information, spying, executing operations to intimidate and ultimately destroy people and even framing them,” Mike wrote in a recent blog post.

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

In 2014, Rinder made some really interesting disclosures about how Scientology carried out that kind of terror program by naming names, the “black bag department” he called them, professional thugs and goons who had worked for him during his tenure directing OSA’s dirty tricks.

One of Scientology’s bag men that Rinder named was an operator named Russ Andrews. Here’s what Mike said about him:

Also in Los Angeles, but very much behind the scenes is Russ Andrews. He is the husband of Fran Andrews who runs CCHR International. For many years Russ has been the “go-to” guy to get phone and financial records and run plates and get criminal record checks done. Nobody ever wants to know how this is accomplished, but it is a well-known fact that there are people who cultivate “friends” in the phone companies and banks who like to make a little extra cash. This is how the church tracks down a lot of connections — finding out what numbers someone has been calling or receiving calls from tells you a LOT. And of course, financial information can be a goldmine.

We thought it might be useful to bring Russ Andrews into the light of day, especially after what we discovered him talking about openly at his Facebook account.

This is Andrews, his wife Fran, and their three children who are all in the Sea Org. Their son is married to Caroline Overgaard, left, daughter to Scientology donor and ex-husband of Joy Villa, Thorsten Overgaard.

As Rinder indicated, Fran runs Scientology’s front group that goes by the name Citizens Commission on Human Rights. It’s CCHR’s mission to carry out operations to propagandize against the psychiatric profession, which Scientology hates with a white-hot passion. Fran’s front group runs the edifice on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood with the bizarre name “Psychiatry: An Industry of Death Museum.”

[Another look at Russ]

We’ve pointed out numerous times that CCHR is the most unhinged of Scientology’s propaganda fronts, but it does sometimes keep its TRs in so it can play nice and influence politicians, like in 2015 when it organized a campaign against a bill in Texas and apparently convinced Governor Abbot to veto it.

But if CCHR craves acceptance with policy makers, we wondered how they might respond to a question. What does CCHR and its director, Fran Andrews, have to say about her husband, Scientology black bag operator Russ Andrews? Especially when, at his Facebook account, he exhibits such a repellant relationship to the concept of human rights?

Here’s the message we sent to CCHR, and to Russ Andrews’ business, Triwest Investigative Services:

Advertisement(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Dear Ms. Rauscher,

I’m a reporter in New York, and I have some questions for CCHR’s board of directors.

CCHR’s Executive Director is Fran Andrews. Her husband Russ Andrews is a longtime operative for the Church of Scientology as revealed by its former head of the Office of Special Affairs, Mike Rinder.

Rinder said this about Mr. Andrews at his blog: “Russ has been the ‘go-to’ guy to get phone and financial records and run plates and get criminal record checks done. Nobody ever wants to know how this is accomplished, but it is a well-known fact that there are people who cultivate ‘friends’ in the phone companies and banks who like to make a little extra cash. This is how the church tracks down a lot of connections — finding out what numbers someone has been calling or receiving calls from tells you a LOT. And of course, financial information can be a goldmine.”

It has been brought to my attention that Mr. Andrews engages in abusive misogynistic, homophobic, and transphobic rhetoric at his personal Facebook page, records of which I have downloaded.

Specifically, Mr. Andrews refers to Vice President Kamala Harris consistently not by her name but by the epithet “whore” — and spells it “wh0re” in order to get by Facebook censors.

He refers to LGBT persons as “h0m0z,” again using zeroes in order to bypass censors.

He has a particular fascination for transgender individuals, writing insulting language about their appearance, and refers to former president Obama’s wife Michelle as a man.

In all, I have many examples of the hurtful rhetoric of Mr. Andrews, and I am asking for a statement from Mrs. Andrews and CCHR about this longtime Scientologist and Scientology operative, Russ Andrews, and how his public statements reflect on the Church of Scientology and particularly on CCHR and its supposed commitment to human rights.

Sincerely,

Jon Atack talks to Karen de la Carriere

Atack says: “As a ‘Class XII’ auditor, Karen De La Carriere is one of the few people to complete Scientology’s ‘training Bridge.’ She talked openly with me about her experiences aboard Hubbard’s flagship Apollo, confirming Mike Rinder’s statements about the stench of the men’s dorm and the confinement of Bruce Welch, which led to both the Introspection Rundown (on which Lisa McPherson later died) and the List XI Rundown. Karen also told me about the campaign waged against her by Scientology’s Guardian’s Office of Special Affairs, where her son Alexander Jentzsch was ordered to talk to her about a hate site that revealed she’d had a ‘boob job.’ Soon afterwards, Alexander died of pneumonia, because he was not given the $20 of antibiotics that would have saved him. At the time, his father, president of the Church of Scientology International Heber Jentzsch, was imprisoned in the notorious SP Hole. After forty years in Scientology, Karen now rejects the ‘Technology’ and the many fanciful claims made for its efficacy by Ron Hubbard.”

“One girl had married a man named Tom. She was very dissatisfied with Tom. She very much liked a fellow named George. She separated from Tom and married George. We took her into her past and found that her mother was married to a man named George and was very much afraid that George would leave her. All this was in the poor girl’s engrams. They told her she had to love George and stay with George. There was a person in the case named Tom whom her mother detested. This girl had been in love with about twenty-three men, all named George. This was a reactive mind marriage.” — L. Ron Hubbard, February 13, 1951

Avast, Ye Mateys

“What one gets Comm Eved for is in the P/Ls, FOs, FSOs, CBOs and HCOBs. You can’t be Comm Eved for failing to follow an illegal order. You sure can be for departing from policy issues. Orders don’t equal orders equal orders. That’s the road to disaster. Some orders are senior to others. A dock worker telling you to put on your jacket is not the same as your division head telling you to do so. You have policy to keep things straight. If policy doesn’t cover, request clarification. If you are doing something other than your hat, sooner or later it will catch up to you. I count on you to wear your hat as laid down by P/Ls, FOs, CBOs, FSOs and HCOBs. Don’t let me down.” — The Commodore (1971)

Overheard in the FreeZone

“The One World Government is here and there are 3 alternatives for this One World: Gray ETs, Marcabians or Scientologists. No. 1 is the mind control agenda of the Gray ETs/US Military at deep underground military bases in western USA. (As described in Bill Robertson’s ‘UFO Lecture’). No. 2 is the Marcabians/European Union model of Economic Control and mass media manipulation. (As described in Bill Robertson’s ‘UFO Lecture’). No. 3 is Hubbard’s Plan for an International City and a new civilization. This is described in the taped lectures ‘International City’ and ‘The Free Being.’ Captain Bill Robertson (founder of the Scientology Free Zone) also has more plans on this with his New Civilization Plan lectures an programs and the ‘UFO Lecture.’ The democratic wogs and ‘Scienos’ in your friend’s list have chosen alternative No. 1, the Gray ET/US military base mind control agenda. European wogs, American and Scienos in favor of Income Tax, have chosen alternative 2, the Marcabian’s/EU control by economics and mass media. Not as bad as the first one. Scientologists in CoS, the Free Zone, independents and some non Scientology OTs support Alternative 3, the agenda of freedom as described in the taped lecture ‘The Free Being.'”

Past is Prologue

2000: Stacy Brooks reported that the Lisa McPherson Trust has already been talking to Scientologists, and some are prepared to leave. “I won’t go into any detail about who or where this person is, but as of yesterday afternoon there is another confirmed Miscavige Church of Scientology dropout. This was someone who had been drawn in by a management seminar. His wife called me last week, having found out about the LMT via the internet. She told the usual story: her husband thought he was going to a seminar about how to improve his business but it turned out to be a front for the C of S. Gradually he became more and more of a stranger to her and she began to be alarmed. He stopped consulting her before handing over large amounts of money to them. He started warning her not to criticize Scientology or he would leave her. One minute he would be raging at her, the next minute he would be ‘handling’ her.”

Random Howdy

“Scientology was touted as the religion for the space age, but stylistically it’s firmly stuck in the time period of, let’s say, 1950 to the 1980s. In its own way Scientology and its members come across as being every bit as tragically unhip as their Fundamentalist Christian counterparts. Squares from Space.”
