Knight of Coins available in more formats
Hello, its been a busy week here as I've expanded the physical books range of KNIGHT OF COINS.
Firstly, I have updated the paperback version with the standard 'blue' cover that is on the eBook and uploaded it to Blurb, a recommended company that prints truly excellent quality books - paperback and hardback - on demand. I cannot fault the quality of the print (the name on the spine is bang on every time), the turnaround time or the usability of the site. The post is quite pricey but that is my only complaint

Secondly, I have reformatted the paperback into a Hardback Large Print version. In accordance with other LP books and the guidelines from Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB)

I created a 108pgs with image wrap hardback 23hx15cm Trade size book which has been reset into 18pt san serif Verdana, ranged left / ragged right, big 1 inch indents and with italics replaced by underlined characters etc.

I considered using the Dyslexic friendly font but as this is new it seems to be currently unadopted but may use it in the future http://www.dyslexiefont.com
To compliment the large print version I still intend to create an Audiobook version of KNIGHT OF COINS. At 12k words the book can be read in an hour or so, and could be ideal for fitting on 1 single CD as well as being available for download.
There really is a great deal of ways to read KNIGHT OF COINS now, and from only 99p/99¢/.99€ - choose yours wisely!

Hello!
It has been long overdue that I set up a blog and thought Goodreads is as good a place as anywhere to do it. So lets go back a bit and start at the beginning: My name is David Humphrey, I'm a freelance graphic designer who lives in Durham in the North East of England and KNIGHT OF COINS is my first published book and the first in a series about the medieval mercenary, Valguard.
Initially a special 'Black label' ARC* was created and uploaded to Blurb's print on demand website in November 2014 as a prototype test paperback and several copied were run off to allow reviews and comments.
