Baby Proof Screenplay
Fascinating article in New York magazine.... Made me think of Claudia in BABY PROOF. Adapting of the screenplay with my writing partner, Kevin A. Garnett, is going well! It is so much fun to collaborate (and do half the work!) and try something new.

two beach reads with a lot of heart
It's June! Summer is almost here! If you're looking for a great beach read (and have already read HEART OF THE MATTER!), please check out my friend Allison Winn Scotch's new book, THE ONE THAT I WANT. It is fabulous, layered, funny, and full of heart. Visit her site today to enter a cool contest!
Also, if you haven't read Julie Buxbaum, go get her latest now. It's called AFTER YOU, and I loved it. You will too.
Happy summer reading!

Heckler in crowd; I dubbed him "green shirt." He overheard me talking about drinks after the signing, I told him it was a free country but that he had better change his shirt if he wanted action from the single girls who he had not managed to win over at the bookstore....
Facebook/Twitter Outing with Readers (and Friends). Had several dangerous mambo taxias at mi cocina.
And look who showed up.... in a new shirt....
