October is Busy Time for Anna Alexander
October 1st and this month is rockin’ and rollin’ in Anna Alexander-land.
First out of the gate, I am a passionate cook! AllRomance eBooks has pu
t together a cookbook with 150 romance authors,including me. 
My recipe of Lip Lickin’ Lemon Tarlets is featured, and let me tell you, I made a batch and took them to the day job and the raves poured in.
Secondly Hero Unleashed is releasing October 19th! I will be all over the web visiting Brynn Curry’s 31 days of Halloween, Sharon Kleve and Jacque Hopkins. Prizes are out there for those with luck on their side.
Finishing off the month I will be at the Emerald City Writers Conference. I will be teaching a workshop on pitching, hosting Drink Divas and sign books at the bookfair October 27th. The doors open at 4:30 at the Westin Bellevue.
Whew! My stamina charm will be getting quite the workout. Wish me luck and hope to see you online or at the bookfair!

Waterfront Book Festival 2012
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, several of the Northwest’s best novelists gathered together in Everett for the Waterfront Book Festival.
Writers of all genres were represented. My tablemates were Jacquie Rogers and Ann Charles, who always make me laugh. Across the way was Bernadette Pajer and Kevin O’Brien, while outside Erin McCauley and Robert Dugoni sat with Diana Ballew and Karina Cooper in the August sun. And that was just a few of the authors present!
The staff at Lombardi’s was excellent, as always, and the atmosphere lively as patrons came to visit from the farmers market on theie way to see the live band. As my first offical book signing, the festival was everything I hoped it would be. I can’t wait till next year to do it again!
