Happy Hump Day!

Today, I wanted to share something I learned about last week...

Google DOCS!!

While I've been using the sheets for a few years for blog tour sign ups and all other sorts of spreadsheets, I hadn't browsed any further than what I'd needed. 

Well. Enter some random marketing blog post in my inbox. Google Word Docs? Seriously?!? I jumped over to my Google Drive and what do you know...I could create a Word Doc to share with the world. I did a serious head desk. 

Why was I SO thrilled? Because every time I make up a media kit for a new release and email it out, I have to update it a few times. No biggie, but when said doc has already been sent to blitz / tour hosts, I need to RESEND the stinkin' thing to every host. I also have to send out a separate mass email with purchase links once they're available.

Now, while this might not seem so big of a deal for a little old author like me with a half dozen or so releases each year, the 'REAL ME' also acts as the marketing director for Roane Publishing. Yeah. I send out a couple of these suckers a year to say the least.

Also, these docs are accessible to you regardless of being home on your PC or laptop. On vaca and someone needs your media kit ASAP?? Send them the link. Easy peasy. AND professional.

​ I found Raquel kneeling in the center of my bed, hands on her lap, head bowed, her high heels placed side by side on the floor at the bed’s foot. She hadn’t obeyed my first command, but fuck me, I didn’t give a shit.

#MondayMoans - Anyone else hate saying goodbye to the weekend? #Yawn #nomorevacation

Anyone besides me have a kick ass weekend? 

I got to head back west to my old stomping grounds...Pennsylvania! My oldest niece got married on Sunday, so I got to see a TON of family including my 3 rockin' brothers, their wives, and their slew of kids.

The wedding was awesome. Beautiful bride and all that good stuff. :) 

The ride back to MA? Pretty durn good. All 3 of my kids behaved like angels. Go figure. Home by 4, unpacked by 5, ordered out for pizza, and called it a night.  

But the best part of Sunday night? I had cover art for Tempered by Her (Zane Risso's story) AND edits for my Feb 2016 release, Finding Freedom, Found by Fate #2. Easy peasy.

And now Monday has arrived and the to-do list is a bit overwhelming. I FINALLY get to start NaNo - writing an historical romance under my real name for an upcoming anthology. At least I got some ideas down on paper during the ride home yesterday.

Tidbit Tuesday: Chasing after Him, Risso Family #5 #Excerpt #Erotic #Romance

Well, peeps, Chasing after Him is in one last beta's hands! Hopefully she enjoys what I've written. This title was probably the easiest for me to write - perhaps because I'm getting into the erotic romance groove? LOL!

Anyhoo. Here's a little snippet to wet your whistle...

~~~oOo~~~ Theo had ordered me to go upstairs to his bedroom, strip and sit on the edge of his bed, legs spread and eyes closed. Heat flushed my skin in the dimmed overhead lights. My heightened breaths filled the stifling silence and overloaded my olfactory system with Theo’s cologne and his musk on the bedding beneath me.

A shiver licked down my body, raising goose bumps in its wake as footsteps sounded in the hall.

I sat as he’d told me to, legs spread, aching pussy—bare and wet—on display. Keeping my eyes shut proved a hell of a lot harder than I’d expected. I longed to see his face, the heat in his eyes as he saw me naked for the first time.

​ ​And yet another good one by Ms. Davis!! While this 3rd installment in the Highlander's Beloved series doesn't have as much nail-biting external conflict as the others (for me, anyway) it doesn't disappoint! Ronan is adorable as is his bear. While Anisa fell a bit flat in some areas for me especially inconsistencies of her kickass CIA background not kicking in while it should have, she is a perfect match for this Matheson brother. They have good chemistry and a deep appreciation for the other.

And Effie. Good old Effie. She had me laughing my ass off a couple of times. Ms. Davis created a comic relief character to rival ALL others. Is there an award for that somewhere?

Would I recommend? Definitely. Especially if you enjoy shifters who know their minds - and their inner animals - and will fight to the death if need be in order to keep their mate safe.  Vonnie Davis, who studied English at Penn State, likens herself to a croissant: crusty, wrinkled, flaky—and best served with strong coffee.
