Except for the cover and some changes to the Back Pages, Remembering Christmas is virtually unchanged from the 1st Edition. This was my first CBA Bestseller. It was also named a Finalist for RT Book Reviews “Inspirational Novel of the Year.” The 1st Edition received 471 Amazon Reviews (avg 4.6 Stars).

With Keeping Christmas, MUCH MORE has changed besides the cover. The 1st Edition did pretty well (avg 4.2 Stars on Amazon), but to me, it wasn’t up to par with my other Christmas novels. There were several changes I wanted to make but couldn’t when it first came out. NOW, this 2nd Edition is the Christmas Story I always wanted it to be.

The reviews keep getting better (yay). My newest novel, Perilous Treasure, has already received 31 Amazon Reviews in less than 2 weeks (30 of them are 5-Star). The first 2 weeks after a new novel is released are always the toughest for an author. After spending 5-6 months of your life crafting, then publishing a new novel, it’s suddenly out there for all the world to see (and review).

This is my 20th novel. You’d think I’d be used to this kinda thing by now. But I’m not. So, it’s been a great relief to check the book out every few days on Amazon and see what’s been happening. Every day, more great reviews.

Exciting Update – I Guess Pigs Do Fly

Why have I titled this post, “Pigs Do Fly?” Let me explain. Some of you may know I’ve published my last 6 novels as an indie, which means I have total control of the creative content and even the price of these books (Referring to the Jack Turner Suspense Series and The Forever Home Dog series).

Not so with my first 12 novels, published traditionally by a major Christian publishing house. With those books, I had NO control. I loved these books and still totally believe in them, but I’m sure many have wondered why they are priced so much higher than the newer ones (and why aren’t they available on Kindle Unlimited, either)? Those decisions were out of my control.

And if you asked me if I’d ever get the rights back to any of these books, even a few months ago, I would have said, “When Pigs Fly.” Well suddenly, in less than a month, my publisher released the rights to The Deepest Waters (and 2 of my Christmas novels) back to me.

SO…I’m excited to announce, I’m immediately reducing the Kindle price from $5.99 to $3.99 (UNTIL MAY 1ST, you can get a copy for only $2.99…that’s 50% off).
