Authors for Philippines - Auction lots!
The fabulous authors Keris Stainton, Keren David, and Candy Gourlay have set up the Authors for Philippines Auction to raise money to help those in need after the devastation of Typoon Haiyan.
I have two lots in the auction:
Lot 1: All 5 Spellcrackers books (matching paperbacks. 1-4 will be sent now, and 5 - The Hidden Rune of Iron - when it's published in 2014. Winning bidder will also receive an eARC of #5 as soon as it's available), signed and personalised, for yourself, or as a book'ish Christmas pressie for someone! :-) Bid Here!
Lot 2: Want to be a character in my next book, The Hidden Rune of Iron? Your character may or may not die horribly!! *g* Bid here!
So why not go and bid, and treat yourself, or a friend! And if you don't fancy either of my lots, there are hundreds more, all in aid of a very deserving cause, so go check the auction out. :-)

Top Ten Vamps, Best Books of 2012, and Future Reading!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday, however you celebrated. Ours was quiet with the family, and Bella the Hound. As you can see she loved her squeaky reindeer, even falling asleep still clutching it; she's such a puppy :-D

Winter Solstice (and pickled eggs)!
Lovely UK blogger (Yay! :-D) Jenny of Eternally Books has interviewed me here for her Winter Solstice event, asking about my writing inspirations, and which character of mine I'd love to have dinner with among others. Malik interviewed by Dangerous Romance.
The lovely ladies, Laurie and Sabina, at Dangerous Romance tell the tale of how they came to Spellcrackers London to interview Malik*, asking him questions like, how does he really feel about Genny? Why is he so protective of her? And what does he think about Finn?

The Steel Seraglio, Turbulence and Other Books!

Death's Rival is #5 in Faith Hunter's fantastic Jane Yellowrock/Beast UF series, which I adore. Anton Strout's Alchemystic is the first in his new Spellmason Chronicles series, which looks like it's going to Rock*! And I was lucky to nab two copies of Nicole Peeler's awesome Eye of the Tempest at Fantasycon! Yay! Jane True FTW! (And one's in the giveaways!)
