A Grave With No Name

Rather liking 's album MOUNTAIN DEBRIS, released by No Pain In Pop. It's like a whistlestop tour of the whole glo-fi/hypnagogic zone as it's formed up in the last year or so. Melty shoegaze to full-on fuzzed-out lo-fi grandeur.

Here's "Sofia."

Actually, more photos of people in our shirts might be fun. If you've bought a T-shirt Of The Week, send me a photo at warrenellis [at:] gmail dot com, with your name and a link to your website or twitter ID or something.

T-Shirt Of The Week: The Ariana's Computer Died Edition

So, yes, the storied BULL, Ariana's monstrous desktop machine, died last week. This naturally ate the arse out of the week. And since this is a spare-time fun thing that fits around Ariana's day job of (among other things) making my books at Avatar Press look pretty… there's no new TOTW this week.

However. For the last several weeks, lots of people have been bugging us to bring back the GOOD MORNING SINNERS stuff for another round.

So here it is: GOOD MORNING SINNERS again, at the IEU store.

Station Ident: Slow Moving

Got a lot to do in the next 24 hours, and my brain is annoyingly still wading through some new project ideas when I need it to turn to a column and some script. So I will probably not be doing much in the way of big posts here today. Probably just a flurry of half-cooked thoughts.

But, here's a pretty picture by Diana McCarthy.

a ?cyborg planet? ? mammoth /
"Erle Ellis suggests that we need to start thinking about (and, presumably, constructing) a ?cyborg planet?, where machines can feed us data directly from nature (?clouds twitter and the forests all have facebook?), allowing us to understand ourselves and natural processes as part of a singular, networked planetary ecology ? which already exists and which we are already conducting mass experiments on, whether we understand the web of connections or not…"

"A series of book covers in response to the D and AD H.G. Wells brief. The concept is that the jackets come off to reveal an extract from the book, which acts as a hidden moral/message from the book. A nice little suprise."
