Tracing the Shadow – an appreciation from Geraldine Harris

Geraldine Harris – to my delight – has written about ‘Tracing the Shadow’ on her blog this week. You can read her perceptive and detailed review at http://fantasyreads.wordpress.com/2013/05/22/fantasy-reads-tracing-the-shadow/

Tracing the Shadow by Sarah Ash

Geraldine Harris is the author of The Seven Citadels series which is well worth checking out if you enjoy reading fantasy with a subtly different flavour.

Eight-Squared Eastercon 29 March – 1 April 2013

I’m looking forward (with fingers crossed that I’ll keep healthy this time) to attending Eastercon in Bradford this coming weekend. Great GOHs: Walter Jon Williams; Freda Warrington; Edward James and Anne Sudworth – and wonderful range of panels, activities and discussions.

And I get the chance to discuss Alan Garner, E. Nesbit and C.S. Lewis with other enthusiasts!

Draumr Kópa and Stephen Youll

I was really pleased – and flattered (and what writer doesn’t appreciate a little flattery?) when the author of a new book-blog, Draumr Kópa, contacted me a little while ago to ask about Stephen Youll, the artist who created the artwork for the covers of the Artamon trilogy. You can read her fascinating interview with Stephen Youll here: http://draumrkpa.blogspot.be/2012/08/stephen-youll-cover-artist.html

I was even more pleased when Cindy told me that she was reading the trilogy; read her thoughts about the Artamon books here:
