Why I don’t celebrate Christmas

I’ve never been a fan of the holiday season. This is due to its conspicuously consumerist aspects and to some religious incompatibilities. However, in the past, I have participated in some celebrations and/or joined the choirs of good wishes as an act of respect for those who resonate with this tradition.
Well, this year, as a sign of deference, I will radically ignore Christmas. I have chosen to explicitly abstain from this feast, in all its aspects, including the most obvious one, which is the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
I believe that to have the dignity of celebrating the birth of Jesus, however one understands it, it is imperative to be in harmony with his teachings or at least aspire as much as possible to do so. Jesus’ message was based on love and unconditional peace, to the extreme of “if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other also to him” (Matthew 5:39). With this I agree. The problem is that the countries who celebrate the birth of Jesus are historically the most aggressive and belligerent on the entire planet, to an ever-increasing degree. This is something I can no longer reconcile. I do not accept that the spiritual charisma of Jesus is exploited to promote societies explicitly based on materialism, violence and every possible perversion of his original message.
Never before in my life have I noticed such an extreme prevalence of warmongers and hypocrites in the world that celebrates Christmas. In the country where I now live, a Catholic place par excellence, they even make up 100% of the political forces represented in Parliament, which meet, among other things, a few hundred meters from the Vatican. As a conscientious objector, I have always refused to comply with any duty imposed by the legal system aimed at the production and use of weapons. I abhor war of any kind, and especially the roguish idea that you can fight a war in the name of peace. Not to mention other national issues of superlative hypocrisy relating to the health problems of recent years.
Of course, hypocrisy has always existed since the beginning of time. But where the hypocrites of the past at least deigned to carry out their criminal deeds in secrecy, the contemporary ones do it openly in front of everyone’s eyes, even managing to receive public approval.
I don’t celebrate Christmas because I live in a country and in a European community that celebrates this event, despite being in obvious antagonism with the related message. While I disagree with the policy of these countries, declaring that their decisions are contrary to my will, I cannot however prevent them from using my contributions to finance their actions. In this respect, I have no excuse or moral superiority. I am an accomplice. In these wretched policies I recognize in some ways some of my contradictions, the inconsistency that often transpires between my principles and my actions. But there is a limit to the incongruity I can tolerate for myself. It shines through when I access the religious and spiritual sphere. This year, after what I have witnessed in the country where I live as of 2020, my abstention from Christmas can only be radical. Nonetheless, my sympathy remains for those in families or among friends who gather these days with a clear resolution of peace and love. I will do this, but having nothing to do with the Western Christmas of politicians, mass media and ordinary Christianity.
So I greet you brightly, wishing you much Peace and Love, as well as the ability to be compassionate towards those who are prey to ignorance and hypocrisy. I recognize that they represent separate parts existing within me and in each of us, otherwise I would not perceive them. Hence, the powerful wish to identify these parts, acquiring the ability to free ourselves forever from the nightmare from which they emerged, with God’s help.
There is also a more properly theological reason why I don’t celebrate Christmas. It lies in the fact that I have never been able to digest the dogma that Jesus is God incarnate, despite the enormous efforts to believe it. This dogma was decided at the table in 325 AD. in Bithynia (Turkey) at the residence of Emperor Constantine I and by his supreme will. Prior to that date, it was commonly believed that Jesus was a man, albeit a highly enlightened being or a prophet. However, things changed drastically in 325 AD. when the first of a long line of dogmas was instituted by the “Catholic Church”. From then on anyone who allowed themselves to deny or even doubt that Jesus was God automatically became a heretic, which involved devastating torture and in most cases being burned at the stake.
So I really don’t feel like celebrating what according to this dogma represents the birth of God, which for centuries people have been forced to believe, because such cruelty towards unbelievers is in total contrast to the teachings of Jesus, both in its divine and human versions.

This course is ideal for those who wish to research, restore, expand or heal their relationship with their deepest nature, or with God, or any other similar term with which they have the greatest spiritual resonance. The course is also aimed at discovering paths with which there is strong harmony, also healing unresolved prejudices or grievances with one’s cultural roots, or with forms of religiosity towards which resistance or aversion is felt.

Interspirituality is an approach that highlights and shares the gifts of each spiritual tradition to access an inner core of truth based on direct spiritual experience.

Interspirituality is essentially an agent of a universal mysticism and integral spirituality.

The course consists of a series of online sessions that take place over the course of a year divided into four trimesters. Each quarter includes five sessions lasting one hour and forty-five minutes each. It is possible to enroll in the entire annual course or in single quarters. Each session is recorded and remains available for those who are unable to participate or need to listen to the session again. In between sessions, the course includes an online sharing and practice meeting with a partner or small group of participants. For each quarter a two-day residential seminar takes place at the Casale in Lunigiana, in which it is optional to participate (in some cases also online), where participation in at least one residential seminar during the year is recommended. A dedicated online forum is also operational for sharing experiences and asking questions. For those who intend to deepen, the course can be integrated upon request with participation in further individual or group training.

The starting date of the course will be communicated by January 2023 and will probably take place in February/March 2023. The requirement to take part in the course is to participate in one of the next online or residential seminars on the calendar, or alternatively in an individual session. The course takes place in Italian and English versions.

New Year Multidimensional Retreat, 29 December 2022 – 2 January 2023

An ideal opportunity to promote inner and collective healing through the use of various spiritual tools, meditation, prayers, shamanic work, dance, music, relationship with nature and good food. We will alternate periods of silence and dialogue, stillness and movement, relaxation and activity, leisure and work, solitude and community life, bringing attention to the world both visible and invisible. We will also review the past, using recapitulation techniques, extracting gifts and blessings, letting go of grievances and darkness, to pave the way for a bright future, harnessing the healing power of the present. This retreat is a great opportunity to join forces and work with other friends on the path, creating enlightened connections and establishing foundations aligned with our true nature.

One of the assumptions of the recapitulation is that past events can block the vital energy until they are identified and released. Otherwise, the past continues to be held back and constantly recycled. The recapitulation can also allow previously trapped energies to make themselves available to implement desired outcomes and goals in relation to the goals of our higher self.

The retreat begins around 3 pm, on December 29, 2022, and ends on January 2, 2023, around 6 pm.

It is possible to arrive early or to stay the following days.

How to get to Il Casale:
By car: take A15 (Autostrada della Cisa) Parma/La Spezia, exit at Pontremoli if you come from the North, or Aulla if from the South. Continue to Villafranca in Lunigiana, then to Merizzo (5,20 km). Once in Merizzo, use as reference the Church of the Archangel Michael. 50 metres after the church turn left at the little parking square then take the only path to the left. After one km you will receive our parking. See: Map
By train: you can arrive to Villafranca/Bagnone railway station with the line Milan-Livorno or La Spezia-Parma. Let us know your time of arrival and we will pick you up.
By plane: the closest airport is Pisa’s Galileo Galilei. Also the airports of Florence and Genoa are close.

 

The richest person in the world

If at the end of the day, you find yourself at home safe, in a state of good health or without severe suffering, well-fed and perhaps even with one or more loved ones, well rejoice because today you are the most blessed and richest person in the world. You are, even if tomorrow, there is no guarantee that things will continue to stay that way. No one in this world can have this guarantee. At any moment, whether you have abundant wealth or health or not, you can lose everything. But one thing in this world at least you can always continue to guarantee, to be grateful for the moments of peace, love and well-being that you have had and that you have.

Practitioner Training

This course is aimed at those who attended the Operative Training in Astroshamanism or similar trainings. The primary intention of the course is to recognize how such work can align with one’s present inner calling, as well as with other spiritual, religious or educational paths undertaken throughout one’s life, adapting it accordingly and learning to practice it with integrity in working with others.

The course aims to provide an experiential understanding of the advanced aspects of astroshamanic work and of the factors capable of guaranteeing their responsible application in harmony with one’s spiritual process of transformation and with the challenges of the contemporary world. This requires the willingness to free oneself from conditioning and false identifications, together with the willingness to awaken and share one’s authentic gifts, allowing the tools of the course to support the above. The course aims to offer means to bring all diversity and dualism back to a single common matrix, identifiable with God or any equivalent term, or absence of term, based on one’s culture or sensitivity. The course also intends to draw on the luminous and synergistic energy of the group of participants, to facilitate the work of healing and promote opportunities for sharing and mutual trust.

The first part of the course is introductory and lasts about three months. It consists of seven fortnightly online meetings of one hour and 45 minutes (fully recorded) and a two-day seminar at Casale in Lunigiana (who is unable to participate in this seminar, can integrate it with an online or recorded version). The course also includes a weekly practice or meeting of about an hour between two or more participants, who can freely agree according to their availability.
