It’s available in hardcover, paperback, Kindle ebook, audio CD set, and Audible download.

My next release is A DIFFERENT KIND OF GONE on December 5th. I’ll reveal a cover as soon as we have a final one.

Hardcover Giveaway

I guess the publication date of my May release, JUST A REGULAR BOY, must be coming up fast. This past week the UPS guy brought me four cartons of finished books. Half are paperbacks, and half are the beautiful, old-fashioned hardcovers we used to see more often. The kind with dust jackets and everything.

A rare post that's not about books.

I’m not sure how many of you know about my hobbies, or are interested in them. It’s fine if you’re not. Feel free to come for the books and stay for the books. But I am, or recently have been, pretty deeply involved with dogs, cats, horses, hiking, travel, and astrophotography.

I’ve had a page on this site called “My Astrophotography” for a few years, but I have no idea how many people have viewed it. Also, I had a lot of older stuff on there that I no longer liked, and I really only posted something new now and then if I thought it was good.

Recently, though, I had a breakthrough in processing (bringing out all the fine detail the camera sensor captured). I learned a handful of new tools and processes, and they made such a huge difference that I started pulling up older photos and reprocessing them. This led me to completely redoing the page on this site, and I’m happy with the way it turned out. (And no, I did not put in all that time at the expense of my writing. I just finished a novel in the past week, handed it in, and I already have 18 pages of something new.)

If you’re at all interested in astronomy, or just enjoy the beauty of the natural world, I hope you’ll take a look.

Well, am I keeping true to my pledge to not spam you with constant blog posts, or what? Just kidding. Mostly. I’m more comfortable only letting you know when something really important happens.

As of this writing, I have beautiful hardcover copies of my new release, DREAMING OF FLIGHT. I also have audio CD sets and audio MP3 discs. I’ve been trying to figure out how to work a giveaway and decided on an absolute free-for-all.
