Who's Ready?...

Good evening Followers,

As most people know, this past weekend I was in Jacksonville. Why? Well, my husband/VP/CFO of Burning Willow Press and myself were there getting some things prepared for "Follow the Screams" and "Follow the Bloodshed."





Not only did we do a photo shoot for the cover, but we filmed for live action book trailers! This is something I am the most excited about and my model/actress Elaina is really a trooper. I had her running around everywhere.


I am so thankful to know the people that I do and to have these people involved. The credit isn't all mine. Yes, I wrote the story, but without these people I would not be where I am today. Not just my husband and the staff and authors at Burning Willow Press, but the people involved in the above process. I would like to thank these people individually.

Eyes of Fire: The Corruption of Innocence (FLASH FICTION FREEBIE)

She was killed within the fire of the righteous, seen as the embodiment of sin. The sad part that they won’t tell you is that she was only twelve and the sin was their own. They continued to lie, stating that the sin and darkness was cast down on them by the wickedness of others and that the destruction of her could save them, bringing them back into the light. Little did they know that their violence would only cause the darkness to grow.             Now they were running for their lives as ash and fire fell from the sky, caused by the demon of the innocence they had corrupted. Their souls would be blackened and she would condemn them just as they had damned her. Her anger and dark rage would ravage them until there was nothing left and they were scattered on the ground amongst the ashes of their holy book. With eyes the color of shiny coals she watched them run and smiled as their blood spattered her dirty white dress.            She walked through the littered streets, laughing as she kicked disembodied arms, legs, and heads out of her path. The world was about to know what Hell was like and she would be sure that no one came out alive. She was their reaper, and they already had one foot in the grave.

I am doing a contest to see who can draw up the perfect Miss Hyde for the covers of my Miss Hyde series of novellas. Whoever creates the image of Miss Hyde that I find to be the best fit is the artist I will use for each part of the series (no clue how long it'll be just yet so you could have work for a very long time). Brand Spankin' New Project!

Good Evening Followers,

I am here to announce a brand new project, and I hope you guys are all just as happy with this as I am. I have had an idea for quite some time that I haven't managed to get to the page until just yesterday and great progress has already been made!

This idea has been cooking in my head for a while and now I have a name and a face and an introduction. Here I am to make sure you guys get a small sneak peek into the new character I have created and I can say this, you guys will love to hate her!
