I'm looking for a few good blogs!

As The Ghosts of Nagasaki enters the editing phase, I'm starting to role out excerpts of the book. Right now I'm looking for a few good blogs to post my first excerpt of the novel. If you're interested in putting an excerpt of my latest book on your blog, please let me know.

The excerpt starts off like this:

Mikey Welsh slams down his beer, his head spins around, and charismatically, with a politician’s grin, he says something inspirational about friendship. Then he drops his pants and starts doing his best Iggy Pop impression.

In a matter of a few weeks, frequenting Japanese pubs, or what the Japanese call izakayas, has become something of a routine for me and several of the expats I work with. And in no time I equate Nagasaki with alcoholism and debauchery. That, and an excruciating pain where my heart should be.

Free Review Copy of Ghosts of Nagasaki for Proofreaders

There are still months to go before my next novel Ghosts of Nagasaki is a published book.

However, the book has been finished for sometime now, and in order to make it as polished and publication ready as possible, I am looking for a few good proofreaders and reviewers.

As a proofreader and reviewer, I would want you to read the book once thoroughly for any typos, errors, etc, and to write up a short review of the book.

In exchange, I'll be willing to buy you any moderately priced book you would like from Amazon or another retailer.

I'm looking for about 6-8 reviewers.

To the Acquisition Librarian of XXXXXX:

I recently had the pleasure of reading a wonderful book entitled The Lexical Funk: A Triumph of Words by Daniel Clausen (ISBN: 978-0-557-02230-4). The book is an eclectic mix of thought-provoking short stories, essays, and musings on the craft of writing. I think the book is a tremendous achievement and would add significantly to the collection at XXXXXXX library.

Thank you very much for your time,

Sincerely,

XXXXXXXXXX
