Lust, gluttony, envy, wrath, pride, and greed all showed their faces at some point in this book and I loved every bit of it! LOL I even felt a little debauched after reading it, and trust me, that's not easy to do… Overall, I thought THE PET SHOP was one unusual and erotic read that was highly addictive. It was hard to put down because I just really couldn't figure out what was going to happen next. This is my first K.D. Grace full-length read, and I have to say, I'm intrigued, so I'll have to check out more of her work!" 4 out of 5

[image error]"I enjoyed The Egyptian Slave. I like that the period of time is short and that Ms. Payne did not try to put a lot of plot lines in this short story. I like the buildup of sexual tension Mem feels towards his slave, Toomela. Watching Toomela respond to that tension and knowing Toomela feels pride in it makes me think of many scenarios that could occur between them. I want to be there as those scenarios occur. I like the mystery of Mem's attraction and how he questions the arousal he is feeling towards Toomela. Ms. Payne has written a concise story where I could feel the arousal of Mem as well as Toomela. I hope she will write more of them. They bring out the beast in each other. I like these characters. In time I could come to love them." 4 out of 5

Also, the story moves with logical sense, even adding a sense of pause towards the end so everyone can gather a collective breath, especially Graham and Charon. Nicely done! i really liked the Ferryman. Graham's over-the-top personality is a nice balance to Charon's stoicism. I believe it is definitely worth checking out this tale of two unlikely individuals coming together." A-
