humanoidhistory:

ohn Glenn is inserted into the Friendship 7 spacecraft on launch day at Cape Canaveral, February 20, 1962.

(JFK Presidential Library & Museum)

I was lucky enough to be at Cape Canaveral to watch and feel the launch of STS-95 Discovery, when John Glenn became the oldest person to ever go to space. I said I felt it because anyone who’s ever been there for a launch can attest that you don’t just watch it or hear it, but you feel the launch in your bones. I felt my rib cage rattle. It was humbling. And knowing John Glenn was on the shuttle was thrilling because he was special – he was that rarest of things: a good man. He will always be an inspiration.

12 Times Han Solo Used The Force Without Knowing It

I need Han to accidentally be force strong, mostly because HE WOULD HATE THAT SO MUCH

“Wow so you’re basically a self-taught Jedi”
“WHAT–ARE YOU–I’M THE BEST PILOT IN–”
“That’s force shit”
“I’M AN EXCELLENT SHOT”
“Yeah, because of the force”
“I’M INCREDIBLY PERSUASIVE”
“That’s the force making people believe your terrible lies against all reason ”
I’LL SEE YOU IN HELL

I can picture his reaction now…

Oh heck

George Lucas can pry Force Sensitive Han from my cold dead hands.

I love everything about this theory, but my favourite part of it by far is now utterly offended he’d be by the suggestion.
