Review - Cameo the Assassin by Dawn McCullough-White

   4 of 5 stars

I bought this book back in July and finally had some time to read it.  If you're looking for a classic good vs. evil book, you won't find it here.  What you will find is a story full of action, surprising twists and turns and a cast of interesting and complicated characters.
The story opens up with horrific attack upon Cameo when she was a young girl. While

Review - The Zagzagel Diaries: Forsaken by Bryl R Tyne

5 of 5 Stars
I love to read short stories, but tend to prefer novelettes and novellas.  Word counts of 10,000 to 40,000 words gives the author room to unveil a story and introduce the characters with all the plot twists and turns.  My own short stories tend to be 10,000-12,500 words and I need all of those words to tell my story.  All of this is a preface for my review of "

Interview with Noah Mullette-Gillman

Continuing my author interviews, I'd like to welcome Noah Mullette-Gillman!
Briefly describe your journey in writing your first book. Some artists start first with characters. Some start with plot. I have written stories that started either way, but the ones that excite me are the ones that begin in my mind with an image.

I like to give a warm welcome to mystery author John Desjarlais.  Hi John!

When did you know you wanted to be a writer?
My third grade teacher mimeographed my first story, "A Present for Polly," about my dog Polly giving away a beloved Christmas toy to a stray. I suppose it all started there. I became

Goodbye Summer...

It's Labor Day weekend already.  Where did the summer go?  I know everyone says that, but this year especially the summer flew by for me.  Between the day job, writing--both my own and keeping up with the blog, my craft business and my daughter's wedding in October, I've been a bit busy.  I guess we can also roll in the fact that my husband and I didn't take a vacation this summer so there was

Funnies...

This blog is my professional window to the world.  I try to blog about things that people would be interested in reading from the latest publishing news to up and coming authors you should be reading, but sometimes  you just don't want to be your professional self.  You want to be silly.  So this is me being silly.

These are great.  Enjoy!
