So I'm on the phone, holding my breath, and Agent 2 says, "I got a job offer as an editor."

So I left Agent #1 in May of 2009. I'd been wanting to split for a few months, but I had a book on submission with her and I wanted to wait and see how that turned out. But the emails slowed, then stopped, and no matter how many times I emailed and called, I got no response. I realized I had nothing to gain my staying. I'm Lame but At Least It's Tuesday
