P2P dreams really DO come true! I signed with an AGENT!

Yes, 'happy-dancing' is a verb, because that's what I'm doing right now. All over the place. Happy-dancing and dissolving into spontaneous smiles. I'm thrilled to announce that I've been offered representation by an incredible literary agent, Dr. Uwe Stender. I'm honored to join#TeamTriada alongside the other talented TriadaUSLiterary Agency authors and agents.

When I received the first tweet from Rebecca Faith Heyman about my Pitch2Publication submission, TEN PAST CLOSING (a young adult thril...

It's official. I've got a title!

This week, Leap Books formally announced my YA horror novella deal and the TITLE!
This graphic isn't the official cover. This is just to get you in the mood for what's to come. For more, check out the post on Leap's site. They rip, they tear, they FEED, and you never come back again. Picture Here’s how last year’s Gypsy Cob Music Festival should have gone. Lenora “Lenny” Ragno was supposed to rock her duet with her long-time crush, Jeb, during the open-mic competition. Then, swept up in the glow...

Pitch2Publication - The Agent Round begins ...

What a crazy month. Since I started writing, I've had some of the most exciting days of my life. My first 'yes' from Judith Graves at Leap Books for my submission to their "Beware the Little White Rabbit" anthology. My second 'yes' from Sanitarium Magazine. Two 'yes's' means it's not a fluke right? If so, then the third, from Three World's Press, really cemented the deal. My first book contract ... which is now defunct since the press is closed. But then there was my contract with Leap for my...

Pitch to Publication, 2016 - I'm IN!

Congratulations to the writers who made it to this year's 'Pitch to Publication' editor round. And I'm thrilled to announce that my own submission, TEN PAST CLOSING, a YA thriller, was chosen by my top choice, Rebecca Faith Heyman, for a month of hard work to whip my manuscript into shape. Then, the agent round ... Thanks again to Samantha Fountain and all the editors who donated their time to make this event happen. It's going to be an incredible month! Picture Now, time to get ba...

I'm under contract with Leap Books (yes, again)!

The universe takes away one book and gives another back in its place. Picture F'or anyone who saw my cryptic announcement on Facebook, as promised, here's more info ... I'm officially under contract with Leap Books for a YA horror novel.

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!

I'm through the roof excited! Not only do I love this book (official title to be released soon), but I get to work with Leap Books again. As you know, I've contributed to two Leap anthologies, and they've been incredible to work with. And they're just go...

Pitch Madness UNOFFICIAL Blog Hop

Picture So, this is a project of multiple excellent minds all looking to get the most fun out of this year's Pitch Madness Event. It started whenEric Rasmussen, a Pitch Madness contestant, suggested a blog hop of sorts to help the Pitch Madness participants connect. Then, Bridgid Gallagher volunteered to get it started. (NOTE: This is totally an unofficial blog hop NOT AT ALL run by the contest organizers.)

The point is to create a fun way forcontest-related conversations to blossom. You can fin...

A sad day

Picture Today's a very sad day for me. My romantic ghost story, "Breathless," is officially gone from the virtual bookshelves. I am in love with this story, and I'm ever grateful to Three Worlds for giving it a shot to exist in the world at all, to Gina Wynn for partnering with me to give it that extra shine and polish, and to Magali Frechette for turning it into a beautiful pic that will always be special to me because it was my first solo cover. I will also be grateful for those who bought it, rea...
