New review

The Immortal Design
The Immortal Design by Angel Ernest.
I have been privileged to read this book as it was being born, and as each page came to an end, I waited in anticipation for the next instalment to arrive, and was not disappointed.
The Immortal Design is a page turner, the two main characters; Jonathan and Willa just grow in stature as the story unfolds. It is fast paced, and keeps up the momentum from beginning to end.
A combination of horror, romance and thrills all thrown into the same cauldron, the flames fanned beneath it, and an amazing story is brought to the boil. I wish Angel all the best with The Immortal Design, it is a five star production.

This morning

I woke up this morning feeling overwhelmed and mostly numbed. Grief can take its toll on the soul. I lost my Grandfather yesterday afternoon. I sat in the hospital room with my parents and aunt and watched as his heart monitor flatlined. I witnessed his last breath leave him. My daughter who was with a friend refused to believe that her best friend and great grandfather was gone. Today I try once again to keep my tears hidden for her benefit and I will be there for her as she tries to cope with the loss.
It really is hard to say goodbye, I woke up realizing that our family gathering place is no longer there as my grandmother had passed a few years ago as well. It is all too bittersweet, for they are together again, but now we have a huge hole that can not be filled.
RIP my grandpa...

Query Letters

Why are Query letters to darn hard to write? I spent months writing out a new novel, try to make it perfect for my readers. This time I wanted to try the traditional platform of publishing. I am seeking representation for my latest venture and I tell you the hardest part thus far has been the Query Letter!!
I spent a lot of time reading samples of query letters, and I finally have a decent query letter to send out. I have sent out several this morning each time tailoring the letter to the specific requirements of each agent/publisher. It's exhausting to reach for the moon, but I have the drive and ambition to do so. I firmly believe that once readers get their hands on The Immortal Design, they will not be disappointed.

Wrapping up

I finished with my manuscript The Immortal Design yesterday afternoon. What a great feeling to have. My reviewers are telling me that they LOVE this book. Well I say to them I do to. I loved writing it and I love to re read the story as well. I can finally say that I really love what I wrote. I don't think there would be one thing I would change about, and that is saying a lot, because I am so self critical! Now it's on to the submissions phase to find the right agent or publisher for this baby of mine.
Be on the look out for my newest novel The Immortal Design!

It's hard to say goodbye

I sit on the verge of closing the end to another book. I'm finding it difficult to say goodbye to these characters that I have created. I am also finding it difficult to write their endings, do I want them to live on? Do I want them to live on happily? Or do I want them to just left hanging on to something that may come up in the future? I'm just not sure yet. I have a definite plot and an outline so I know where the story starts and ends, I know each character 's strengths and flaws, but now I am coming up with new ideas as the story takes on a life of its own you could say. There are two possible endings. I guess I will just have to surprise myself when the time comes which will be very soon.

The wake up Call

And the peace and quiet came crashing down with the hurricane that roused its head with a thunderous roar of waking children and hubby...... LOL well I guess it's time to quit the writing for the day until the roar dies down to a lull.... Love my family!!

All jokes aside, it's my day off and look forward to picking up where I left off in my new novel, The Immortal Design. I'm at the point of no return with this new book, all of the secrets and mysteries shall soon be revealed. My reviewers (those who, I have allowed to get a sneak peek) tell me this is one of the best new books that they have come across... Well I hope that it goes over well with the rest of the world as well....If you have questions just ask, I'm always here to reply.
