Retold is here (that is not the confession, btw)!
Have you downloaded it yet?
Here is your chance!
Read Retold NowRetold is a dark Regency romance collection that includes a Hades and Persephone retelling, a Peter Pan retelling and a Rapunzel retelling.
And it just came out!
Actual footage from scenes in the book:
Retold includes three dark and sparkling romantic stories inspired by myths, folklore and fairytales, as well as by the glittering world and the roguish gentlemen of Regency London.
They might look like quick, fun reads, but don’t be fooled: these stories are going to break your heart into a million pieces.
It is dark, snarky and absolutely vexing.
Tropes:
-Enemies to Lovers
-Pirates being lethally silly
-Tortured boys that you want to protect
-Found family
-I have everybody but you
-Forced (really forced) proximity
-I outwardly hate you but I will murder everyone with a spoon if they so much as look at you wrong
-Cats (yeah it’s a trope ok)
-Wet shirts on dudes who look like Greek statues
-Strong heroines who become stronger
-Grumpy/sunshine
-Hate (REALLY hate) to love
-We were friends as children and then there was torturous slow-burn but then we hated each other and now what are you doing asking me to dance with you?
-So many scenes inspired from Kdramas (sorry not sorry)
-I’m looking at you from across a room and melting. No, dying. And you don’t know I exist.
-Bad boy falling for the preacher’s daugher. (And by bad boy I mean Hades)
-Kidnapping
-Hades and Persephone yumminess
-Cheekbones
-Neck cloths (those that are super white, and end up just underneath the Adam’s apple, you know the type.) Ugh.
-”I love you, you idiot!” (in Rory Gilmore’s voice)
-I think I should stop.
Actual footage of the first 2 persons to read it:
Yeah. It’s like that.
Anyway, retold is a stand-alone Regency romance novel.Proceed at your own risk.

My confession will go out with my release day NL!(https://www.mcfrankauthor.com/newsletter)
