Khamenei: Iran won't give in on election

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has said his country "will not yield to pressure" over a disputed presidential election.

"Neither the establishment nor the nation will yield to pressure at any cost," said Khamenei.

This comes after Iran's Guardian Council proclaimed there was "no major fraud or breach in the election" and ruled out an annulment.

60,000 inmates raped each year in the United States

According to the American National Prison Rape Elimination Commission, about 60,000 inmates are raped and sexually abused each year in the United States.

The commission quotes a 2007 study by the Bureau of Justice Statistics which found out that more prisoners reported abuse by staff than by other prisoners.
