Matrix Resurrections

While I am huge fan of the original, none of the sequels ever matched up. I gave it a good effort and was asleep within 15 minutes of the film starting. I never fall asleep during good movies. This is a no, or rental at best.

Unwatchable. Granted, I fell asleep for most of it. Definitely do not see in theaters, if at all.

Last Night in Soho

This movie is a few edits of removing about 10 minutes away from being the sleeper thriller of the year. Some parts of it were just so perfect and the end...lol wow...never saw it coming. If you are into Thrillers, albeit with many adult themes (just as a heads up for those of you who aren't into this), it nice that we are getting some good movies again. Highly recommended to Thriller lovers.

No Time to Die

Saw the long awaited No Time To Die last night.



Lots of unexpected surprises, they were definitely taking chances on this one. I would put it right up there next to Casino Royale.



Highly recommended.

The Last Mile Miracle - Bringing COVID 19 Vaccines to Extreme Locations

For those of you who are interested, this is an accountability documentary put together about the work we did in Indonesia using the Credo boxes. We are continuing to use these boxes in other parts of the world.



For those who are curious, yes I am vaccinated and believe every one in the world should have equal access and freedom to choose for themselves.

That said, I am also anti-mandate. I believe consulting with your doctor is the best way to start, but I do not believe in coercion to do so.



Most out side of first world countries do not have the opportunity or access to COVID vaccines and I feel strongly that we should do everything in our power to try give this fairness of choice to them.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings

Being that this was the first movie I was able to see in theaters in the last 6 weeks or so, I had high hopes for Shang Li and the Legend of the 10 Rings.



I was sorely disappoint and bored, so much so I fell asleep. Never a good sign. From what I saw however, this has to be the weakest of the marvel movies in my opinion.



Even as a rental, I would hesitate to recommend it, but I understand when you have the Disney + bundle and want to watch something new.

A lot of mixed thoughts about this one.



Suffice it to say its not about what it is advertised to be about a thriller (ie a man trying to solve a murder around his daughter's case).



This is a character film contrasting the beauty, flaws, strengths and weaknesses of the human condition. It explores cored values and when one will compromise their standards.



Really good acting.



But, again, NOT a murder mystery or crime thriller.



If you are into character films, you will love it. If you are not, skip it.
