Writerly Wednesday

I'm not sure who gets credit for this one, but thought it was pretty clever. (From twitter.com)

It's Tuesday

Greetings, Blogger Buds. Hope everyone is safe and healthy, especially our friends on the west coast. Here's hoping you get buckets of rain.

More garden and cat pics. Yes, I'm a person of limited interests:)

Another Iris and Herbert (so named by Birgit of BB Creations:) pic.

Tuesday's question for US residents. Please answer only if you are comfortable with it. Do you plan to vote in person or by mail?

Did You Know

Did you know that in the first presidential election the president and vice-president were chosen by electors named by state legislatures. The electors had one ballot and could  name two men. The man with the most votes would be elected president and the man with the second most votes VP. Behind the scenes, Hamilton lobbied to keep the votes down for Adams so that Washington wouldn't be embarrassed by the number of votes Adams received.

It's Tuesday

Happy Tuesday, blogger buds. What's new in your corner of the world?

We have a couple of black swallowtails now intermingled with the yellow swallowtails. There is one black and one yellow that are always dancing around.  We can't tell if it's a turf thing or a romance:)

A couple more garden pics. I didn't realize Mr. Frog's leg was so dirty:)
And...Lookee. Lookee. This is the third time this year for this Iris to bloom. I've never heard of an Iris blooming three times in a year.  Have you ever had one do that?

ANDOne of the SILs sent this vid out. I got a huge kick out of it and think you will too.
So do you have your dancing shoes on or your gardening boots?:)

Did You Know

Did you know, Krispy Kreme's new shop in Charlotte, NC has a twenty-four hour donut vending machine?

IWSG Wednesday

The first Wednesday of every month is officially IWSG day. Members post about their doubts and fears, discuss struggles and triumphs, and offer words of encouragement to others who are struggling.

Thanks, as always, to Alex Cavanaugh, founder and Ninja Captain extraordinaire and our awesome co-hosts.

The IWSG monthly question can be found under the IWSG Sign-up tab on the Insecure Writer's Support Group Blog.  Remember it’s optional.

September question: If you could choose any author, living or dead, to be your Beta reader who would it be and why?

Another great question.  First let me say, I’m very happy with my Beta readers

It's Tuesday and September

Can you believe it's September? You know what that means...Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner. We've been spending Thanksgiving with our daughter and SIL for several years now and I really hope we get to this year. Unfortunately,  COVID will have a say in that. As of now we are playing the waiting game. And while we are waiting, and since it is September, here's some pictures of fall in the mountains.

And a few more pictures from Longwood Gardens, PA

As a gardener, I must admit to being a bit envious of that pink rose:)I hope your week is off to a good start and turns out to be your best so far.
