This woman finds an abandoned parakeet in NY City.

*The little guy went through six hours of chemo last week. Got blooms? Working in the garden? Got bad kitties? A parakeet friend?

Did You Know

Did you know, before Jefferson penned the statute for religious liberty in 1786, in the Anglican church  it was a crime in Virginia not to baptize infants?

*Considering religious liberty is why many of our ancestors came to America, I found this appalling.

Did You Know

Did you know, horseflies hastened the Declaration of Independence? The horseflies dive-bombed the delegates in the Pennsylvania State House from a nearby stable. They were so maddening the men didn't tarry over the signing.

It's Tuesday

 It's Tuesday

 Weird and wonderful Frank:

Do you think he's trying to tell us it's time to take the winter plastic off the porch?

In the garden:

The first spring Iris.

Starter plants.

I've discovered Etsy has starter plants.  This is a little Tea Olive Dwarf Shrub. It's pretty tiny. I may be on my next cycle of life before it reaches maturity.

Hellebore.

Hardy Hibiscus. Another little guy.

Dwarf lilac.

The hosta is springing up and the violets are in take over mode.

I've been pulling wild onions out of the garden and smell like a particularly aromatic salad:(

The kitties memorial garden.

That's all folks:)
