It's Tuesday

What's popping up in your garden?

As you can see I've got hostas  cropping up and....a glove. Have no idea where it came from or how long it's been there but it's firmly entrenched in the ground. Hope there's no hand underneath it......(Cue eerie music.)

Now that spring has arrived I'm working on my rock garden again.

AND

The first violets and tulips. It seems like no time at all since I was posting last year's first violet sighting.

I took several sky shots. *Spoiler alert. They aren't in the same category as Valerie's and Sue.

I love seeing the moon still out in the morning.

This is from the skylight on the porch.

That's it for me. Are you enjoying your daybreaks and sunsets? Got flowers popping? Or maybe gloves:)

Did You Know

Did you know, one of the first inventors of robots was daVinci who invented a robotic knight maneuvered by pulleys and levers?

It's Tuesday

 Greetings Blogger Buds,

What's your favorite easy salad(s)?

I must be part rabbit. I can live on salads, especially if pizza and dessert are thrown in:)

Here's a couple of mine.

Ingredients: apples, coconut, sliced almonds and yogurt.

Ingredients: lettuce, red pepper, eggs, carrots, walnuts, parmesan cheese topped with ranch dressing.

More food

Has anyone tried these candy bars?  OMG. They are delicious. The name and ingredients didn't really appeal. Then I noticed the high calorie count (ha), and noticed it was a Harry and David Product, and knew it had to be good.

Felt and tile

Instead of throwing this tile piece away, I stuck some felt on the underside and turned it into a hot plate. I'm sure some of you crafters and artists out there could make these and paint some lovely designs on them...if you haven't already:)

Critter pics

What about you blogger buds? Got an easy salad to share? Made hot plates? How's your critters? Tried Moose Munch?

It's Tuesday

How long does it take you to make the bed when you are putting on fresh sheets?

It takes me eleven minutes. Eleven long, strenuous minutes. Yes, I timed it.

I swear, I never gave changing the sheets a bit of thought when we had a full bed. Or a queen. Or a king. Then  we got adjustable beds. Don't misunderstand me. I love them.  They're great for reading in bed or watching a movie. Or having trouble breathing. Or just finding the right height for comfort.  But when it's time to change out the bedding, OMG. It's like wrestling a lion. If you have an adjustable bed, you know what I'm talking about. We have two XL twins, placed side by side, in one frame. Which means twin sheets that you have to crawl onto the bed to battle tug them on and tuck them in. Then after getting the sheets on you switch to king size blankets and coverlet. It tires me just thinking about it. I think I'm going to put it under the heading of exercise. It should count, don't you think?

What about you.  How long does it take you to put on fresh bedding? What size is your bed?

AND

Look at those daffies. Spring has come to NC--at least temporarily. In honor of the occasion, I've put away my long pants and dug out my shorts. I do get a kick out of the folks that are tougher than I and wear them all year long.

SO, blogger buds. How long does it take you to make your bed? Have you pulled out your shorts yet?
