Coincidences, the emergence of a secret life, a treasure, an heiress searching for her birth mother and the ulterior motives of some of the Creek’s own citizens all have Kelly scrambling to uncover the truth before his best friend ends up being convicted of a crime that Kelly is positive he didn’t commit.

Vanya moved into his embrace. After a long silence she lifted her face up to him and took his hard kiss. She responded with urgency and passion. He fueled the fire within her and she didn’t want to stop.
He kissed her cheek, then moved to nibble on her ear lobe.
“I love how you kiss me,” she said somewhat breathless.
He answered with a trail of kisses down her neck . . . lower and lower. She allowed him to pop open the first few buttons on her blouse. He pinned her back against a tree and buried his face into her cleavage. The sensation shook her to the core. She should tell him to stop, but she truly didn’t want him to.
How or when he slipped the remaining buttons free, she couldn’t say.

Before "The Wild, Wild West," there was a "Wild, Wild East." In honor of our First President, I'm sharing a book about a love story set during America's revolutionary war as it happened in upstate New York, a place which was then full of Indians and many different settler traditions. (Tried to place cover here.)
GENESEE by Juliet Waldron is an extraordinary book about love, hardship and prejudice. It's well written and full of wonderful characters. Even though they have many differences, Genesee and Alexander are true kindred spirits. Ms. Waldron keeps you enthralled by, a little at a time, giving tantalizing tidbits of their origins. This story isn't sugarcoated, which is really refreshing. There are some instances of violence, but they're brief and handled well. Anyone who enjoys an honest, realistic story will love this one.
