Here’s a drawing of Hank that I did about 3 years...

Here’s a drawing of Hank that I did about 3 years ago and it’s just been sitting on my computer since then. It’s supposed to be Hank during his X-Factor days shortly after he reverted back to his original form. It was actually inspired a bit by the scene in X-Factor #4 where Rusty and Hank have a conversation in the locker room as Hank gets ready to take a shower after his workout. I know Hank had a flat-top hairstyle back then, but I’ve always felt that hairstyle looked ridiculous on him. I originally drew this with a more modern hairstyle, but recently redid the hair to match more closely to Walt Simonson’s version of Beast from those days.
Walt and Louis Simonson’s run on X-Factor was my introduction to Beast and the rest of the O5 and will always be the “default” version of the team for me. Which is probably why I associate the original 5 X-Men with the 1980s instead of the 1960s.
(I was jokingly going to submit this for “Man Smut Monday” but am a couple of days late for that. However, it’s been a while since my last submission and I thought better late than never.)
