The Crimson Claymore by Craig A Price

I really enjoyed this book. It had lots of great qualities. It had some action and some sweet moments as well. A great book for sure! * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*   5/5

#RileyAmosReviews Apocalypse Wow

Apocalypse Wow by Ben Mariner

I read this a couple weeks ago, but I haven’t really had the time to get my thoughts down in that time. It took me a little bit to get into this book, but once I did it was fast, smooth sailing. It started out slow, taking about a quarter of the book to hit the action, but once it does get to the meat and potatoes of the book, I found myself whipping through it in no time. An enjoyable journey chock full of pop culture and video game references.

The Book of Kindly Deaths by Eldritch Black

This book was ok for me.  I liked the idea of the book but I don’t think I quite understood everything the author wanted me too about the Grimwytch.  I think another land of monsters is a good concept but I wanted it to go further with it maybe.  I just feel this book could’ve have been more than what it was for me.
3/5

Birth to the Stilldead by Eric Johnsen

What a scary short story for me! I loved it!  I am sure working in a pediatric unit of a hospital is a hard job.  I’m sure I could handle it when things don’t work out well.    This book had me caught up in the moment.  I had no choice but to keep reading.  * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*   5/5

Sky Ghosts: The Night Before by Alexandra Engellmann

This was a great short story. I didn’t know I had missed the character of Pain so much until I started this book.  I love this character.  She is a great one!  The action pieces are great and the writing is great too.  Great job again Alexandra!  * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  5/5

Jasmine by Ana Elise Meyer

What a great Trilogy!  I was captivated until the very end.  I think you could read this book alone or read it as I did as a trilogy.  The book is suspenseful and full of that power of keeping me wanting to find out what happens next.  I had a great ride with this series.  * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*   5/5

Dead and Damaged by S. L. Eaves

Wow,  this book has lots of action in it!   All I wanted to do on this book was just keep reading.  It was great!  I can’t say enough great things about it.  I enjoyed the characters and the story and everything else, too.  This book has vampires, werewolves, and humans in a great cast of a whirlwind of a book.  * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  5/5

The Dreamer by Travis McBee

I loved the cover of this book!  It is great and caught my attention right way.   This book kept my interest and to me that is great!  I want to be engaged in a book and this book did that for me as well.  I thought this book was a great idea of what this author maybe capable of in the future.  I would check out more books from this author.  I love horror and thriller books and this book was a little of both for me. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

Baby Doll by Hollie Overton

This book to me was a little dark but different from what I read normally. This book could be a little too true to life from reading some headlines in today’s world.  But I enjoyed the book.  I think the story scared me out a little and I like that is a good thriller.  * I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

The Last Necromancer by C.J. Archer

This book was interesting.  I enjoyed the little love interest Charlie has and how that grew in the book.  I am curious to see how much it will grow in books to come.  I like the characters but I was surprised by who Charlie’s father was so that was a fun element for me.  I will have to read more of the series to find out more things about each character I hope we will learn more though out the series.  4/5
