Healing
Hey Life Speak Family,
I wanted to share some of my favorite scriptures to read when i’m experiencing some unwanted symptoms and i need to remind my self of What Belongs to me.
Hope you enjoy, and feel rejuvenated after reading what the Word of God has to Say on Healing. God Bless!
“My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.”
– Proverbs 4:20-22 (AMPC)
Saying, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God and will do what is right in His sight, and will listen to and obey His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon you which I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord Who heals you.
-Exodus 15:26 (AMPC)
Then they cry to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivers them out of their distresses. He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction. Oh, that men would praise [and confess to] the Lord for His goodness and loving-kindness and His wonderful works to the children of men!
-Psalm 107:19-21 (AMPC)
O Lord my God, I cried to You and You have healed me.
-Psalm 30:2 (AMPC)
You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst.
-Exodus 23:25 (AMPC)
“Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.”
-Isaiah 53:4-5 (AMPC)
1 Let all that I am praise the Lord;
with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
2 Let all that I am praise the Lord;
may I never forget the good things he does for me.
3 He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases.
4 He redeems me from death
and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
5 He fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
6 The Lord gives righteousness
and justice to all who are treated unfairly.
7 He revealed his character to Moses
and his deeds to the people of Israel.
8 The Lord is compassionate and merciful,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
9 He will not constantly accuse us,
nor remain angry forever.
10 He does not punish us for all our sins;
he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.
11 For his unfailing love toward those who fear him
is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
12 He has removed our sins as far from us
as the east is from the west.
13 The Lord is like a father to his children,
tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
-Psalm 103 (NLT)
Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is he who considers the weak and the poor; the Lord will deliver him in the time of evil and trouble. The Lord will protect him and keep him alive; he shall be called blessed in the land; and You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will sustain, refresh, and strengthen him on his bed of languishing; all his bed You [O Lord] will turn, change, and transform in his illness. -Psalm 41 (AMPC)
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows].
– Psalm 147:3 (AMPC)
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise.
-Jeremiah 17:14 (AMPC)
Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.
Matthew 9:35 (NLT)
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
James 5:16 (NLT)
He personally carried our sins in His body on the [a]cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been [b]healed.
1 Peter 2:24 (AMP)
I encourage you to Go back through and Speak these Words over your life. Even when you feel super healthy! Because these words will keep are life, and even if your don’t need a miracle in your body, somebody else will. In addition, These words will keep you well and able to do the work of the Lord, acting as ammo that you can fire against your adversary the moment you start to experience symptoms.
Thanks,
God Bless

Loss
One thing that is universal to the human experience is loss. It’s a sobering truth that while we are on this earth there is a beginning and an end to everything. Loss strikes in many different ways—a job, a relationship, the life of a loved one, your influence, your purpose, or simply your ability to do what you once could. Knowing that loss is an inevitable event we all must experience, it’s so critical that we learn how to navigate all the pain, confusion, and frustration that occurs when we lose something or someone. Dealing with loss is a process, and it’s OK to have feelings of grief, hurt, and confusion, but when you dwell on the pain of loss for too long it can monopolize your life and hinder your ability to heal.
When we experience loss, an emptiness is created that is proportional to how significant the thing was to us that we lost. Too often we try to fill the emptiness with the wrong stuff. We’ll fill it up with distractions, thinking that the pain will go away if we don’t think about it, but we end up only making our suffering longer. We may try to medicate our emptiness with drugs or alcohol, but we end up making the hole in our lives bigger by the self-destructive nature of substance abuse. We could try to fill the emptiness with revenge and hatred, blaming others for its existence in the first place. The problem with these methods of dealing with loss is that we are running away from our hurt instead of running to God with our hurt. As you hope in God, you don’t have to know how you will make it through, just know that you will—that sometime, somehow, everything will be OK because God is with you. As you lean on God, the emptiness will begin to fade as God’s life, love, and light takes its place.
Scriptures to encourage:
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
—Psalm 34:18 NLT
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds curing their pains and their sorrows.—Psalm 147:3 AMP
Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.
—John 14:1 AMP
God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.
—Revelation 21:4 AMP
Quote:
“Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence.”
—Og Mandino
A Poem by Jake Provance:
There is a great darkness that doesn’t wait for night,
A cold, empty void that hides the light.
It’s the end to every beginning,
Feels as if your enemy is winning.
This cancer of the earth,
inescapable since birth.
We were not made for death,
To feel the pain of love’s last breath,
The sin that brought loss to our homes,
Has been forgiven but its child still roams,
With its claws sharp but its sting removed,
The pain cuts deep but its poison subdued,
You have a daddy above,
The purest light named Love,
Ready to pierce the void,
So you won’t be destroyed
Lean on him and the pain will slowly fade,
As the darkness turns to shade,
And the hope of tomorrow,
Begins to lessen yesterday’s sorrow.
Prayer:
Lord, I know you know what loss is like. You lost your most beloved Son, for the sake of gaining me. Strengthen me, Lord. Encourage me, teach me how to look to you when my emotions are running wild, and my heart heavy. I know you love me, I know you are a good God, but Lord, if I’m being honest, what I feel and what I know aren’t lining up right now. Lord, I ask you to heal my heart, fill the gaps of my life left by loss with the hope that is found in You. You are more than enough for every need and every void that I’ve have. Thank you, Lord, for your help. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The Name Above All Names
Jesus is seated at the right hand of the father. Making intercession for us right now. He pleads our case, making all our prayers perfect prayers when we pray it in His name. When there is sickness, when there is lack, when there is pain, we as Christians pray, and speak life and light over and in these situations confessing the name of Jesus. In Jesus’ name, I rebuke this sickness, and I speak Healing into this body. By Jesus’ Stripes, I’m Healed. There is power in the name of Jesus. There is no mistaking that. Listen to what Ephesians says:
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
-Ephesians 1:20-22
There is a name above all other name, a title far above any title that could be given. The name carries authority with it that is above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion. It is the name of Jesus Christ. The word Christ means: The anointed one. It is not just the last name of Jesus. But its how the bible defines Him, and names Him. Jesus the anointed one, Son of the living God. And when you read a little further on in Ephesians this is what we find out:
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
-Ephesians 3:14-15
We have the same name of Jesus! We are part of God’s family, through the death, and resurrection of Jesus. We are adopted into the family of God, and are given a new name, a new title, to go along with it.
I imagine a guard to a VIP access area, I walk up trying to enter back stage to see my father who is the main star, or get access to the special seating that He paid the price for and gave for me to enjoy. And there stands a guard, an obstacle in front of me, standing between me and what belongs to me. He laughs at me, makes a few jeering comments, saying things like, “you and everyone else wants back here. Who are you to come back here. This is for VIPs only, and you definitely don’t have any importance. Go home kid, you’ll never be able to afford something like this.” leans over to the other guard and continues to make light, and despise me. But finally after I weather the assault of them
berating my identity in which they are unaware of… I drop my family name. I’m a Provance… I’m a Christ (Anointed one). God is my father, Jesus is my brother. And they both
get real quiet…. They know that they messed up, they know that they lost their jobs. And I continue through to my promised gift as they are scrambling saying “sorry sir, I had no idea.. right this way sir. Is there anything I can do for you sir…” This time I’m laughing as they once did.
This is how I imagine when sickness, lack, fear, or oppression of any kind try to enter my life. All they can do is attack my identity, try to convince me I don’t have any reason
to obtain the promise God gave me. But I weather the storm and I enact my right as a Christ, as a Son of God, as an Ambassador to the Kingdom of Light. And I take the authority that was not only given but entrusted to me, And I break the power of any force that comes against me and my God. And laugh as the enemy flees in terror, never confusing the reality that it’s God through me that causes the enemy to flee.
So smile, lift up your chin, and walk in confidence. Live a life worthy of the station you have been called to in life. With the authority you have been given also comes a call, and a charge to fulfill God’s plan for your life. You have a unique calling that no one else does. And you’ll need the power of your family name to get it accomplished. I’ll end it with what Ephesians says in the fourth chapter:
“I therefore, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to and beg you to walk (lead a life) worthy of the divine calling to which you have been called with behavior that is a credit to the summons to God’s service, living as becomes you with complete lowliness of mind (humility) and meekness (unselfishness, gentleness, mildness), with patience, bearing with one another and making allowances because you love one another. Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of and produced by the Spirit in the binding power of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as there is also one hope that belongs to the calling you received—”
-Ephesians 4:1-4 AMPC

I Have Authority and Dominion.
I Have Authority and Dominion
You have Authority and Dominion as God’s representatives on this earth. Jesus operated in divine authority on this earth, he did many miracles at the behest of God. He said
“I do and say nothing lest I hear my father say it first.”
Consequently, When Jesus exercised his authority to perform God’s will on the earth, He looked within and sought the words that God would have him speak over his current situation, and spoke those words with Faith in God, and confidence in his position as God’s Representative.
According to God’s ultimate plan of redemption for us, Through the death, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ, we were saved, and placed in the same position Jesus operated in on the earth. We are Christ’s ambassadors equipped with the authority and dominion He operated in. Jesus Tells us,
“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”
This doesn’t mean you should look for snakes to step on, nor to calm a natural disaster. God gives us wisdom and if there is a way to avoid a disaster we need to exercise that wisdom. The reason for your authority in the first place is your protection, never to be powerless, nor a victim of circumstances, but to walk confidently in faith. We are equipped and empowered to operate as Jesus did, He even said
“Whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.”
So, activate your authority by speaking the Word of God in Faith over your adverse circumstances. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you don’t have a way out, be secure in your position and remember your authority; reach down within, and seek out what the Lord would have you say, and speak out the words he’s given you with faith in and through the delegated authority of Jesus Christ.
Scriptures
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
– Genesis 1:26 ESV
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
– Luke 10:19 ESV
And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
-Genesis 1:28 ESV
what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?[a] Yet you made them only a little lower than God[b] and crowned them[c] with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority—
-Psalm 8:4-6 (NLT)

Still Standing.
“Tough times never last, but tough people do.”
-Robert H Schuller
The bible says, “many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivers them out of them all.” It is true that difficult situations are inevitable for us. Whatever your situation, God does not always show his love from stopping the storms of life, but often time loves us by walking through the storms with us. There are days we all wish that we didn’t have to go through the pain, the hardship, or the shear weariness of difficult times, but entertaining these thoughts only make it harder when hardships do come. The only way to be prepared for the inevitable crisis is to shed our worry, anxiety, and ultimately our fear of it. With God you can face anything, so do not be afraid of what lies before you, instead take courage because of what lies behind you.
Remember all the times you Got sick, remember all the accidents, Remember all the storms you’ve weathered, Remember all the hurts and pains you’ve endured, remember all the near misses and close calls, And finally remember that which matters most, That you are Still Standing! You are Battle Tested and whatever you face, like everything you have faced, it too will pass. Even if you are under assault by the enemy of our soul, take heart because If Satan could have killed you, he would have, but he couldn’t. He tried to break your spirit, He tried to bind you, he tried to blind you, he used shame, pain, and every tool he had to defeat you, but he failed because you’re still standing. Certainly take notice of all the Good in your life as well, live thankful for God’s blessing, and choose to be happy. Just never forget that you are battle tested and tried, so that when the worst of the storm is upon you, You will stand, and keep standing until the very end knowing that with God you are unconquerable.
“Remember how far you’ve come, not just how far you have to go. You are not where you want to be, but neither are you where you used to be.”
–Rick Warren
Scriptures
But you who clung fast to the Lord your God are alive, every one of you, this day.
– Deuteronomy 4:4 (AMPC)
Be alert and on your guard; stand firm in your faith ([a]your conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, keeping the trust and holy fervor born of faith and a part of it). Act like men and be courageous; grow in strength!
-1 Corinthians 16:13 (AMPC)
Praise our God, all peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard; he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping.
– Psalm 66:8-9 (NIV)
God, my God, I yelled for help and you put me together. God, you pulled me out of the grave, gave me another chance at life when I was down-and-out.
– Psalm 30:2-3 (MSG)
God bless,
Jake
