Author Biography

Vadhan writes dark, high-intensity thrillers rooted in Indian mythology. His stories explore the fault lines between faith and power, myth and memory, science and the unseen — blending ancient cosmology with modern suspense in narratives that are both atmospheric and rigorously researched.
Drawing on years of engagement with mythic texts and contemporary thought, his novels reinterpret sacred narratives through a speculative and psychological lens.
Author of multiple mythology-based thrillers, Vadhan continues to build an interconnected mythic universe for readers who enjoy layered storytelling along with moral complexity.

The mystery of how the Baba knew what I was thinking! I had doubts on him as a spiritual leader. I was a 15 year old, questioning every belief that my ancient system offered me. Including the Baba. My doubts were my own. I had not voiced them. Yet, the next day, when we met him, he knew exactly what I was thinking. He made me sit and asked me why I doubted him. He also promised that he will always be there for me. I am 49 now. The Baba passed away a few years ago. I am still not able to get over how he knew my thoughts. How do I explain it (to myself)?

2. When my office boy, a guy barely in his twenties, told me one day out of the blue that "It's there and until it's chased away, you will never prosper," before he fell in a dead faint. It's a fact that once we performed certain remedial actions including donating a cow and a calf to a temple, (totally unconnected with the office boy), things just fell into place. How do I explain it (to myself) ? (less)

ER-B

Three hundred years into the future…

Mohit woke up to the pain. His stomach… torn asunder. Inside out. The weight inside like a living thing, moving down from his belly to his groin. A low mewl escaped his mouth, through clenched teeth and drawn lips. The bright lights glaring down at him only increased his sense of disorientation. The male nurses, all in white, holding his legs apart. Some sor

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”
Isaac Asimov

“In that year began the tragic bookending of the Indian debate on secularism with two unspeakable pogroms. From that time onwards the 1984 riots in Delhi that took place on Rajiv Gandhi’s watch and the 2002 Gujarat riots that took place on Narendra Modi’s watch would be used to checkmate one another in what might be called the chessboard of competitive communalism. And secularism, the foundation of the republic, fashioned out of our astonishingly diverse society, would find itself challenged again.”
