I have long had a relationship with the Manitous and find this work fascinating and loaded with beautiful descriptions. PD Allen does a wonderful job with this story. I cannot recommend it highly enough to adult or child reader. He has an incredible command of the Manitous history and a wonderful ability to bring a story alive and make it pertinent today. I give him five stars out of five. You don’t need to know about the Manitous to enjoy the book. However, you will definitely come away with a refreshing view about life, history as taught, and creation itself.
