STORIUM is coming to Kickstarter on April 8!

After over a year of development, playtesting, and planning, we’re finally ready to bring Storium to Kickstarter! We’ve submitted our campaign for approval and will be launching within days.

UPDATE: the official launch date for our Kickstarter campaign is Tuesday, April 8th!

The last few weeks have seen a flurry of activity over here at Storium HQ. We’ve made many updates to the game in preparation for the campaign launch. We shot our Kickstarter video, which was a blast for the whole team. We’ve spent hours writing up our campaign and collecting feedback from friends and allies. We’re as ready as we’re going to get, and it’s a huge thrill to see it come together.

Our Kickstarter campaign will fund the public launch of Storium. We’re granting immediate access to the playtest for backers. If you’ve been waiting for a spot, this is your chance! (If you’re an existing alpha playtester, don’t worry — you’re already in. But we still hope you’ll consider backing us.)

We wouldn’t be here now without the support and enthusiasm of our amazing playtesters and the tens of thousands of you who have been following our progress. Our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you!

—Stephen and the entire Storium team

The Letter Bearer by Robert Allison

A good friend of mine has just published a novel in the UK called THE LETTER BEARER (and this is the US Amazon link), available online in the US and in trade paperback in Canada and Australia - and hardcover in the UK.

I've known Rob for years and always loved his writing. This is his first novel and he graciously allowed me to read the first 50 or so pages in draft - and it was brilliant. It's a war story. I can only assume the final draft is just as wonderful.

Check it out!

WAR STORIES Anthology

One of my stories is appearing in the new WAR STORIES: Modern Military Science Fiction, which is being published by Apex Publishing. The angle of the anthology is to tell war stories befitting a modern generation - where the wars fought today are not like the ones fought 70 years ago. The landscape of warfare is changing - and so are the soldiers.

They're doing a Kickstarter too, which you can read all about HERE!

If you can contribute, we'd really appreciate it. I love the story I wrote for it and I hope it can be read by y'all.
