Five Stars for Tejon Trail

Tejon Trail (Cal MacLamond Western)Tejon Trail by Will Murray

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cal MacLamond wears a badge but dishes out his own version of justice. Although he's hot on the trail of two dastardly bandidos, he takes the time to woo and win the heart of a pretty woman along the way. That she's already married doesn't bother this lenient lawman. The spirit of the wild wild west is alive and well in this gritty tale of high desert justice.

5 Stars for Graveyard Dead

Graveyard Dead (Tillie Boggs Mysteries)Graveyard Dead by Frances Reed

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What do a redneck overweight heroine, a dead body, and a French guardian angel have in common? Las Vegas and an action packed mystery full of twists, turns, and surprises that had me guessing until I turned the last page. I'll definitely be looking for more of this author's work!

4 Stars for Home in Time for Christmas

Home in Time for ChristmasHome in Time for Christmas by Heather Graham

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really wasn't sure I was going to like this book. I love Ms. Graham's suspenses and this soooo wasn't a suspense. That being said, I fell in love with the characters and thoroughly enjoyed the romp through time.

5-Star Review for Love Hurts by jj Keller

Love Hurts by J.J. Keller My rating: 5 of 5 stars This isn't a traditional romance, but I love quirky, out of the box stories. This one spoke to me, because as a single parent, I've been there and done that. View all my reviews

5-Star Review of Jewel Heist by jj Keller

Plus I really, really love the cover. Jewel Heist by jj Keller My rating: 5 of 5 stars The love boat has nothing on this adventure. Jewel thieves, a sexy hero, and a spunky heroine all conspire to make this a truly enjoyable read. View all my reviews

Cover Art Christmas

Receiving cover art is truly my most favorite part of the whole publishing process (waiting, well, that's a whole 'nother story!). I opened my e-mail on Saturday to find this. I am soooooo jazzed. Although Once Upon a Midnight is a historical romance, the story has just enough zombie/mysticism elements to warrant a more original [...]

Some "Musings"

As an author, I don't believe in Muses or any divine inspiration related to my writing. I may joke about my muse, but all-in-all, it's just me and my brain. But what an amazing brain – I recently began plotting my latest manuscript, targeting it for a category romance line. Charlene Sands shared with the [...]
