Crystal eyes 2020 in Kindle
Crystal Eyes
Only the title story is same as before, the rest of the stories have changed, the genres and moods are versatile as usual, light, dark and very dark stories are included in this year’s compilation.
There are stories about magical beings, ghosts, vampires, things good and bad magic can do and sometimes if not always what happens to them who meddle with magic.

Crystal Eyes: In the title story, Prabhat has collected an unusual find at a curio shop, and has recurring dreams of a young woman from long ago. He discovers a trap laid by an evil magician, a tantric, to take or to destroy the woman of those dreams. This one has a sad ending, but very well done.
Ye have been warned 2: First, in Warning 11, a young girl gets attacked by giant monster Snapdragons after trying to pick them, then in Warning 12, “The Smell from Hell,” there are the unpleasant results of a curse of red ice (Yew!), in Warning 13, a seemingly deserted house gets scoped by movie producers, only to prove actually haunted, and NOT available to rent for shooting! In Warning 14, “Scarecrow Nights,” cats and other local pets must be kept indoors on certain nights, or they are never seen again! In Warning 15: “Howler Nights,” a small town must vacate the vicinity on certain nights of the year, or get no sleep. In Warning 16, “You will see her only once!” a local pleasure house offers girls whose Faces May Not Be Seen, or dire things await the beholder! In Warning 17: “Peep through keyhole and ye shall be hexed!” A peeping Tom gets his “reward” for being more curious than he should. These were fun!
Reality Fairytale exposure 1: Snow:
Young Trinca finds a magic book in a secondhand shop, and strikes up a friendship of sorts with it, as it tells her twisted versions of otherwise familiar stories beginning with a new take on Snow White. This is different! Appetite whetted!
In Reality Fairytale exposure 2: Cinders:
Trinca hears another story from her magic book, this time an unusual version of Cinderella, and in my view, a much more interesting one. I liked these two stories especially, and would like to see others in the same vein in future books, perhaps with Indian fairy tales as well, as those would be fun!
Over all: I’ve enjoyed the previous version of this book, and this edition is even better!

Kalipuja by Labanya: What a beauty. It captured the purity and beauty of Kalipuja perfectly.
Will Bengal shine again by saptarchi: This question haunts all Bengalis that love their culture! Things have improved a bit under TMC but with saffron brigade’s eyes glued on Bengal the hearts are fluttering! If they ever come to power that will be the darkest day for Bengal.
Fogline by Brieuc Martin Onraet 7: Another piece of hilarious conversation between those who have created human beings and their boss. I wonder how human beings would have looked if they had feathers!
Faithmark by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: Quite an interesting story, well, instant reward for listening to a holy man. Hope he won’t become greedy and ruin the blessing.
Passing of the torch by Troy David Loy: Meera is developing quite intriguingly, I will absolutely enjoy to read the book in which she is the central character or one of the main characters.
Heart has love… by Dom Collucci: beautiful poem filled with wisdom.
Bitter Pill dose 36 by Bitter Pill: Secular India 3: This is a complain many Indians have had in past and will have in future, Indian secularism is really not unbiased, the way it should be!
The return by Brendan: Great piece, our beginning and end are so much similar indeed.
The Tilbaroo station by Pat Ritters 4: Looks like bride’s father has given a very good wedding gift, a gift that will keep his son in law and daughter and their coming generations prosperous for years. Beautifully written piece!
I believe that will be it for my critique as an editor, you will have to read the rest in Ezine. Of course there is truckloads of more works there!

Will Bengal shine again by saptarchi: Well chances are really slim and it will become negative if saffron brigade wins in next elections, they are already instigating violence in the state, heaven only knows what they will do if they grab the power!

Star of West Denzel Washington: He is one handsome guy, some of his movies are too violent for me but his roles always leave a mark.
Star of east Shabana Azmi- A great actress with great soul. She is quite brave and sort of activist.
Youtubia-Abhisar Sharma- He is really brave! God keep him safe from thugs and goons!
Minutes Together: Good evening miss was a really sad story with a very good message for teachers.
