Thank you YouTube

This is a post I have been thinking about writing for some time, in this world where media is controlled by wallets and politicians YouTube has stand apart. There are so many things I will love to thank YouTube for! A few of them are-

1. Thank you for letting us know that there are actually kind and generous people in this world by hundreds who still care for other creatures and people selflessly, very often at their own expenses!

2. Thank you, thank you for giving a platform to truly talented people, people who could not afford [or pay] a publisher or producer to make a movie or publish a book in some reputed publishing house!

3. Thanks a million times for letting brave men and women stand up and speak their mind about the current condition of India where media is bought by governments and/or wallets. It sort of revives our faith on Indians! That there are many Indians who are as frustrated as I am about the condition of present India, and these people don’t bark or coo for their masters, they share facts!

4. Thanks for liberating music and movies too from the clutches of industrialists! These days courtesy you I am listening to new artists every day!

Thanks a million times! Hope you will not become a paid service for everyone in near future! Will still be poor man’s TV

Hi friends, let us begin!

The ezine begins with a tribute to Lal Bahadur Shastri, I am quite an admirer of this man with grits, and am pretty sure that he was murdered.

Farce in the name of justice by saptarchi: These are the news items that make conscientious people without the heart of Mother Teresa wish human beings are wiped out of earth for good!

Fogline by Brieuc Martin Onraet: Mr. Onraet is a great storyteller, and an interesting mytho-sci-fi is in making I think. The names of the characters at least hint that! What is inside that lab?

Vikrama aur betala by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: Smart sculptor. Power mostly corrupts so it is smart to stay away from power-plays for your own sake! Great story Mr. Kuppuswamy!

Gardens of Sarusammog 2 by Troy David Loy: Saru meets Korravi! Great piece Mr. Loy, Saru is like selfish giant of a story I have read as kid. No one enters my garden uninvited!

The dark made its mark by Dom Collucci: Wise words. Everything indeed came out of pitch darkness! Great words of wisdom Mr. Collucci.

Bitter Pill dose 29 by Bitter Pill: politics 5: Politicians indeed use media as their court poets in India. Indian media is thoroughly corrupted, despicably corrupted!

Prophets of God by Brendan: This is one hell of a piece of writing! We human beings will certainly either kill or perform character-assassination if Jesus or Buddha shows up to save us! Look at those who have tried to warn us against high and mighty crooks these days- Edward Snowden for example.

The shearer by Pat Ritters: Well the jailbird walks out of the jail, the bartender refuses him entrance, admonished by him he scampers away to his lodging. What next?

Treats:

five lovely shots- from Agni’s photography trip!

In the treats section Lucifer’s liegemen links and short description have been provided.

Click goes the shears by Pat Ritter: short description of links of the book about shearers of Australia, sounds quite interesting.

Love of my life by Dom Collucci-Sounds like a warm, romantic read.

Pikatron by Troy David Loy sounds like a great reading material with fractals as added beauty!

SBs’ book in amazon, The heart beats on – a collection of poetry, sounds good! Will be checking on them, maybe grab a copy and critique them too!

Sitara Devi- Her name I have heard and if I am not wrong watched her performance in TV too! Will have to check out in YouTube to see if there are any!

A haunting: Watched quite a few episodes in TV, they are spooky for sure! Their quality is better than many horror movies too!

Balraj Sahni- he is one of my favorite actors in Hindi movies. He has performed in many black and white movies, and was a really natural actor for sure!

Youtubia-One step beyond- Will check out! Thanks for adding a bit about the story. You forgot to change the title though, I was surprised a bit but then thankfully the name was right at the beginning of the post.

Minutes Together: this month’s story “You drank my poison” was Karma dishing out the right dish to the right recipient I guess.

Loved the Bengali poem and the hindi poem both. Thank you for adding my work in your ezine Agni.

Sukanya and Sage Chavan- A story that might have been tragic took a lovely turn, cute story.

Words- difference- Agreed, a good camera does magic on photos.

Scaredy Stick- This type of incidents makes pandemic-time scarier! An educated [highly educated ones] struts about the entire city’s crowded places with their infected son, spreading a deadly disease.

The sketches all through the ezine were pretty! Very colourful and lovely.

That is it I guess! See you again next month, and thank you Agni/Sharmishtha for translating my works!

Yours sincerely,

Labanya

This is the first issue of Bengali New Year 1427. Well, it began in lockdown and hope and I pray it will end better, far better than the way it began! Wish you all a very happy Bangla Nabobarsho-Bengali New Year.

Indie Author Speaks 12: Good tips for Indie authors. Being Indie author is not all about independent right on what one can publish, it is also a solid responsibility too! Quite solid I will say!

FTQFS: Oh yes, the way human beings express their lust and label it as “love” is insult to the feeling! If it could I am sure it would have committed suicide!

Techbabble: I so agree, I am still one of those who prefer a book, newspaper over online reading or offline reading. I do wish they will find a substitute of paper so we could read without feeling guilty! They are manufacturing weapons like popcorn but can’t create a paper-substitute and boast of their supremacy! Human beings!

The kingdom of the fallen: Do I agree with Agni? Yes! I have spent most of my life in communist regime and I know damn well that low-castes rule Bengal, not so called high-castes when it comes to real life, in religious life the upper-castes have upper hand of course, but most of them being liberal don’t practice it, the hapless low-castes on the other hand practice their muscles really good in real world!

SOS: So true! Human beings are really insufferable mostly. Some you can tolerate, very few like or love, the rest… well the rest are just different degrees of….****

WOW: So beautiful! If only we could see God in human beings [majority of them]! In the rest it is easy to see God and God’s beauty!

History of India: That is a new one. I did not know that Indian history is divided like that- Hindu, Islamic and Christian era. Ha! Wow! Well, I know very well that how good Hindus were at record-keeping so….

Human beings: Well, I think very few people bear their ethnicity on their countenance or behavior. Most of us are quite similar. It is when we speak we give out our nationality or other things. Some people are not transparent even then. So, it certainly does not surprises me that people can’t assess Agni by looking at her or talking with her a little.

Fun and Frolic section:

Dream Angel by Pat Ritter: Sounds like a very interesting read for author’s admirers or fans. I always love this type of stories where authors open up their hearts and share their views.

Lucifer’s liegemen: Sounds like an interesting book.

Pikatron october 2018 critique by Editor: Will have to get the newsletter from Agni.

An open letter to Disney: I agree, after watching quite a few really good movies made by Indies, and many good illustrators and animators in YouTube I will really agree with Agni that if big media houses spend a percentage of their profit to encourage these talents instead of churning out same stories again and again or repeating their own old works viewers will be mighty glad!

Indian Raga Now:

Preeti Sagar- She sang quite well. Have heard very few songs by her though but her voice is very sweet.

Hrithik Roshan and Shahrukh Khan- It really feels good when people like these who are quite safe in their own lives and can easily forget others come out and help others again and again. Like Bill Gates! Hope they will be blessed by God!

The night before Christmas: Love the Christmas gifts Jack Frost doled out to kids. 

Chaitra Shot: lovely photo! Wish I was there to see that halo! The rainbow is quite visible! Cool!

Youtube channel: Already checked them all out.

Storytime:

Swarm: Will love it if it happens!

Ponchishe Boisakh: Tagore was the only one of his own kind. So are his works!

Theme: fairy- a lovely compilation of paintings. No verses or prose this month though! Love pretty pictures so it works fine for me!

The cartoon Mr Stick: Quite real! Sitting at home watching people on the street from the very first day of lock-down, and reading about them in newspaper… all I can say is absolutely true words spoken Mr. Stick.

In the end quite enjoyed the Ezine, and its colourful sketches/paintings specially they are refreshing and pretty!

That is it I guess! See you again next month, and thank you Agni/Sharmishtha for translating my works!

Yours sincerely,

Labanya

Agnimalya Book 15, Urania’s table 1

Agnimalya Book 15 Urania’s table 1

https://gumroad.com/l/sjBfI

https://shoptly.com/i/95y

Selected set of human beings are scouting the universe for other homes for human race.

No, don’t be sad already, earth is very fine, especially since a large group of people relocated to Mars and moon first, and then after the miracle that happened in 2222 CE they are scattered all over the universe, looking for planets that can provide shelter for human beings, there is only one rule, that won’t/can’t be disobeyed- it has to be free from any life form with thinking capacity, if it has thinking sponges, even then as per the universal ethic created by High command in earth human beings are to leave that planet alone!

They can try their lucks in planets which have life-forms like plants but not the ones with thinking lizards or ants to be precise! Not only that, they will have to adjust with not eradicate the life-forms of that planet, even if they are poison ivy-like! How? High Command does not care! If you can’t leave that planet alone is the command of high command! Disobeying or cheating? Ha! Dream of it!

“The miracle” also ensured that High command keeps a watch on everywhere human beings land and their effects on that planet’s ecosystem!

I know you are dying to know about the “miracle” – well, it was a visit!

Man was already living in Mars and moon, small dome like structures has popped up all over the surface of mars and moon, inside them earth-like environment was created and maintained. Outside it was Mars and moon, not very hospitable.

Earth has changed a bit, after the polar caps melted, population has seriously decreased some sense seeped into the brain of the remainder, and they stopped squabbling, instead of that they joined hand and started building a world that lived on ships.

They showed up, not from outside, but from within our ocean. A group of representatives with a gift for mankind!
