Hi friends, let us begin!

Shraban issue begins with tribute to legendary writer Michael Madhusudan Dutta. I have not read any of his works outside the ones that were in text book, am not a big fan of his writing, the only reason is I can’t understand his works!

Paise hotel salesman by saptarchi: This is exactly the level to which Indian politicians have reduced themselves during last election and they have gone so much lower since then!

Fogline by Brieuc Martin Onraet 5: It would have been nice if there had been no human babies, mother earth would have been really pleased!

When Gold went on a trip by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: This was a smart twist in the story, let us see where it leads the story.

Split impunity by Troy David Loy: Dr. Jeckyl and Miss Hyde? Will love to read more of this one.

I see it NOW… by Dom Collucci: another great poem Mr. Collucci, beautiful words of wisdom. Simple and beautiful.

Bitter Pill dose 34 by Bitter Pill: Secular India 1: Hindus are the huge majority of India, but that did not prevented Indian governments for decades to subdue them and neglect them, turning them into the thugs they are now.

Crows 4 by Brendan: Beautiful peace. The feelings of the narrator could be felt so vividly. Well written!

The Tilbaroo station by Pat Ritters 2: Beautiful story of a newlywed couple’s new life!

Treats:

5 lovely shots- from Agni’s July photography, a cute selfie and a beautiful set of pix.

It is a very nice gesture to share the request made by her friends in Linkedin, you can never tell who may get interested in one of their offers. I just sifted through them, not into this line so…

His life worth living by Pat Ritter: Sounds like a good story.

Pikatron by Troy David Loy sounds like a great reading material with fractals as added beauty!

SBs’ book in amazon, Moments from the Journey and butterflies for life’s garden, two books in Amazon. Will be checking on them, maybe grab a copy and critique them too!

Interview with an intercultural person Kiran Bhat, great interview, thanks for sharing Agni. Kiran certainly has lived a full life! His book sounds interesting if not cheerful!

Rasoolan Bai- Never heard her name before here. Heard a few songs in YouTube and liked them.

Linda Blair: She was quite an actress. Wonder what prevented her from becoming a star.

Girish Karnad- Always loved this actor. He was so gentle, sophisticated and sweet!

Youtubia-Dhruv Rathi- Watched a few episodes, he is smart and the type of person India really needs these days.

Minutes Together: The slap is hilarious.

Loved the Bengali poem and the hindi poem both. Thank you for adding my work Shraban in your ezine Agni.

Shatadhanu- Being born as a dog only for talking with a hypocrite! Really harsh punishment!

TnW- good tip!

Scaredy Stick- True again Mr. Stick, your fears are quite valid.

The sketches all through the ezine were pretty, very colourful and lovely.

That is it I guess! See you again next month, and thank you Agni/Sharmishtha for translating my works!

Yours sincerely,

Labanya
