Look what postie brought me! Lovely (early!) author copies from Harlequin.

This is great news, because it means I can use a bunch of these as ARCs. So...I'm looking for a handful of readers/reviewers in the UK/Europe, and the same again in USA/Canada who are interested in historical erotic romance with a paranormal twist. The three Taskill witches books are set during the time of the Scottish witch trials, which means they are predominantly in the Scottish Lowlands.

Introducing the UK cover for THE HARLOT

Side by side, the UK and US covers for THE HARLOT. I love them both! They both fit the story in slightly different ways. The US cover (left) with its lock and key has been in hand for a long while, but the UK angle on the story (right) is a new vision. Where the US one is erotically iconic and mysterious, the UK version also pins down the passionate mood and turbulant period of the story in such a simple way.  It might not show up well here, but the backdrop is gloriously red with distressed fabric or parchment and the suggestion of flames.

The US version looks to be shipping from Amazon on January 22nd so I guess it will be in US/Canada bookshops around the 1st February too. The pre order price at Amazon US also features a chunky discount! 

The book is also coming out on Harlequin Australia on the same date and is available at Booktopia for pre order.  It'll also be available through Harlequin Australia later on.

Towards the end of January I'm going to be launching a new blog feature called Witches on Wednesdays, a weekly post where I will chat about the background to the Taskill Witches books. I'm going to share snippets from my research and reading around the turbulent times of the Scottish and English witch trials. This will run through the three month back-to-back publication of the three Taskill books.

BRAZEN BEHAVIOUR is now available in digital download for around $1.49/£00.99. This is a short read set in Victorian times -- a sensual historical romance about two headstrong types who want each other, but stubbornly won't admit it. Hot, fine, naked guy...doing the sexy biz

Exciting times - one of my short stories, HUNGRY FOR LOVE, has appeared in Cosmopolitan Magazine in Australia! It's also coming to Latin America soon. Never thought I'd see an email from Hearst.com in my mailbox. It was an amazing, surreal moment when it happened.

Here's a peek at the layout -- check out the tasty guy photo they organised for the feature. :) Australian readers can read this story in its entirety (together with 5 others in a double sealed erotica section) in the current (December 12)  issue.


In other news for Australian readers, it looks as if Harelquin down under will be publilshing both THE HARLOT and THE LIBERTINE in print early in 2013. Woohoo! And on December 1st, you can pick up this gorgeous anthology which features two of my menage novelettes.
