New Book is Here!

My newest book, which is the second book in my Tracy Truworth, Apprentice P.I., 1940s Homefront Mystery series, has officially been released. What a time and what a wild journey it's been, bringing this book to fruition. Through Hurricane Harvey and watching my community work to rebuild, and so much more, I had moments where I wondered if this book would ever be in print. As you can imagine, I don't think I've ever been so happy to open shipping boxes and see a cover beaming back at me. Swell Time is a take off the old-fashioned, larger-than-life 1940s mystery movies, with a little Indiana Jones and plenty of history mixed in. Oh, and then there's the ever budding romance between Tracy and Pete . . . I hope you enjoy! Yes, Carol . . . It's Christmas!

Now available on Kindle pre-order! Introducing,
Yes, Carol . . . It's Christmas!

Yes, Carol . . . It's Christmas! by Cindy Vincent
As the top salesperson for Pfunn Party Supplies, Carol Frost doesn’t exactly know how to have fun herself these days. Though she wasn’t always such a humbug. Once upon a time, she was famous for hosting Christmas parties that were filled with everything from laughing guests and luscious hors d’oeuvres, to artfully iced sugar cookies and creatively decorated Christmas trees. To top it off, she even wrote a best-selling book that became the authoritative tome on Christmas party entertaining at the time — The Complete, Total, Ultimate, Everything-You-Might-Possibly-Want-to-Know Guide to Hosting the Best Christmas Parties Ever.

Yet that was long ago, before her life changed and she stashed her tinsel and twinkle lights away once and for all. And while Carol soon learned to settle for her boring but comfortable existence, an old friend knows that Carol isn’t really living up to her potential. An old friend who . . . well . . . now enjoys her eggnog in the afterlife, you might say. To goad Carol into going back to her former party hosting ways, said friend sends three of her specter pals to pester Carol. Then much to Carol’s annoyance, she is visited by the Ghost Hosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, on a plane filled with plenty of holiday revelers. And though Carol only wants to be left alone, the Ghost Hosts have other plans. Instead, they take her on an adventure that wasn’t exactly on her itinerary . . . or printed on her ticket stub. From that moment on, Carol’s life will never be the same. Provided, of course, she survives the jingle-bell rollercoaster of a ride and makes it home in time for Christmas . . .

1940s Book Blog Tour and the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day

Most of you probably know that Dec. 7th is the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. And while very few of our WWII vets are left, please be sure to honor every one that you can. What an amazing sacrifice those people made for generations yet to come.

And, be sure to check out the blog tour for the first book in my Tracy Truworth, Apprentice P.I., 1940s Homefront Series -- Bad Day for a Bombshell. This book starts two days before the attack, and shows just how much that event changed our country, as well as the world. Be sure to enter to the giveaway! http://www.singinglibrarianbooks.com/...

New Book!!

After spending hours and days and months in front of my computer, I am happy to announce the birth (okay, maybe not birth, but sometimes writing a book feels like giving birth, especially considering this work truly is a labor of love!!), er, rather, the release of the first book in a brand-new series: A Bad Day for a Bombshell, a Tracy Truworth, Apprentice P.I., 1940s Homefront Mystery. The second in the series is already in the works. Bad Day for a Bombshell

And while this book is a departure from my usual Buckley and Bogey Cat Detective Series, the flavor is very similar, with a Bogart-like Pro detective training a Rookie, and the Rookie going through lots of growing pains along the way. Plus you'll find plenty of fabulous 1940s details and historical tidbits to keep you entertained and educated.

But best of all, right now three copies of this book will be awarded to three lucky winners in a Goodreads giveaway, so be sure to put your name in for this drawing! (Just follow the link above and scroll down the Giveaway section.)

Hope you enjoy!
