What Would You Like Me to Talk About?

So, showing just how inept I am at promoting my own books, I've only recently realized I have 1600 Goodreads followers. First off, THANK YOU. I'm delighted folks on Goodreads are interested in my work. The only thing I've ever wanted as a writer is to write deeply emotional love stories that speak to people's hearts and souls. Hence my nifty new tagline: BDSM Romance for the Heart & Soul. Apparently that's known as branding myself. Who knew it was a marketing term? I always thought it meant something different (grin). Strike branding, freeze branding, electric branding...

I've never been a hugely chatty kind of person, unless you count nervous babbling in social situations. My books are FAR more interesting than me, and who needs one more idiot blathering in your inbox? So, on that note, I'm keeping my first post short and sweet. Actually I hope to do that with most of them, but I want to kick off my blog with a question for you. Based on what you know about me and my books (or don't know!) what would YOU find interesting for me to talk about?

Would you like me to trash talk about my characters? After all, I'm not afraid of them, even the scariest Dom/mes. They can't do anything worse to me than they did during the editing process on my books. The Inquisition couldn't come up with tortures as horrifying as four editing rounds on 150,000 words.

Seriously, this is an open invitation. As long as this blog is active, I'll take your suggestions at any time and turn them into blog topics. If you have a sadistic side, you can make it really challenging: "Joey, I'd like you to compare the conflict between your newest hero and heroine with the Middle East peace problem and project the odds on which one will be resolved first." Probably the Middle East thing, because THEY don't have to go through four edit rounds on 150k words...

If no one suggests anything, I will come up with my own topics, and I'm not sure anyone wants that, because my characters and stories are the most colorful thing about me. My idea of fun and excitement is a nap with the cat...

Thanks again, and look forward to your ideas! I'm assuming you can comment in some way at my blog, but if you're shy, you can also email me at storywitch@storywitch.com.
