here is a photo of a dead person, here

is another. I took this photo of

a living person & now, after some time living,

they are dead.

I never bothered valuing the time between

the photo & the fact

because who the fuck has time for that?

So Say the Waiters

Gushing. that's the word. Wrote for 3 hours the first day. 5 hours the next. And now today looks like a 5-6 hour day. Should hit page 40 this afternoon. Revising and sticking to the outline has been a lifesaver. I'm already seeing the circle come around - book one definitely foreshadows lots of development that happens in book 4 and book 7 and later. Keep in mind, these are short 65-70 pages books. 
I think the easiest part is both main characters, even though they are very diff...

So Say the Waiters

Already on page 20. I've never written like that before - over 3 hours then another 3 the next day. The characters are already taking shape, a fixed gear bartending girl with a serious chip on her shoulder and a profoundly depressed 30-nothing guy spinning his wheels at a federal agency. Yeah, they meet, Yeah, they change each other. Yeah, there's a boat load of social networking and micro economics and really, really fucked up shit. 


Everybody is in their own, private Waiting Room.
