Yes it does! Lethal Sin is a dark BDSM romance, where the male lead does something similar, but not quite as dark as Destruction. I hope you enjoy it!

I put it on a shelf and write something else. Everything I write plays like a movie in my head and sometimes the movie doesn't play. I've learned that if I try to force it, I hate every word that I write. So, instead, I just let it go for a bit now and work on whatever else is waiting to be written. Eventually, those characters refuse to be ignored any longer and the movie picks back up in my head, the music crescendos, and I knock out the book!

Having a fan send me an email, or comment on FB/Twitter saying how much one of my books meant to them, or how affected they were by them! Of course, sometimes those messages come to me through reviews and I love those too, it just always makes me sit back and think, "Wow, someone likes what I wrote?!" It never gets old, it's magic every single time.

I am currently working on a freebie story that will be released to all of my newsletter subscribers (sign up here: http://tinyurl.com/jbeneauthor) and it’s dark and delicious. I am also 2/3 of the way through Book 2 in my Daughters of Eltera series, but I had to pause that project when my publisher wanted ‘Taken by the Enemy’ which is coming out on March 26th.

Just sit down and write. You may hate it in the morning and erase it, you may love it and it could launch you into a 20k word spree of insanity. You’ll never know unless you try, and for first-time writers? We all suck in the beginning. It takes time to capture your voice, mostly because you’re so terrified of every word you put down when you start. Ten years ago when I got my work ripped apart, I wish there had been one person to sit me down, pat me on the back, and say ‘Yeah, this wasn’t perfect, but fuck it. No one is great when they start, pick up these pieces and do something with them because the core of this? The core of this is badass and deserves to be written.’ Everyone needs to be told that!
