Some colleagues of mine have suggested I write a Nettie’s Tea House trilogy. So I’m toying with ideas for a second book. I continue to dabble in my life-long passion of writing poetry. I’m also researching a historical fiction (that will have a splash of the supernatural) set in Creole New Orleans in the 19th century. In addition, I’m lending my editorial support to my dear friends, fellow writers who working on a spiritual non-fiction book.

I have always, always, always been interested in all things supernatural, the otherworld, and the realm of spirit. I was standing on a mountain path in New Zealand with a group of fellow tourists enjoying the vista when I spotted a small but inviting tea house in the distance just as we were leaving to get back on the tour bus. Under the spell of the magic and mysticism of New Zealand, the concept of Nettie’s Tea House sprang into my mind as I got back on the bus: a soul group on a journey in the afterlife. A dream I had shortly thereafter revealed the opening chapter; characters, symbols, and plot developments came to life in subsequent dreams.
