I don't read books according to the season or weather. I read often series with multiple books in it, and read them one after another. If I have a new story come out, I will then interrupt my reading with it, and often have that series next in my reading list.

I was bored with the same plots in so many stories, with the same results happening. During work, I had giving myself a question of "What if I found my werewolf mate?" I then took it farther and went to how would I meet? Then had to work out how/why they were hiding... and once I had that worked out, started writing it down, and just continued to throw problems.
